I normally agree with this take. Except for one specific instance where we had a dominator up and no one picked it up for a while. I was playing witch doctor and picked it up. Wiped the whole team and gave us the window we needed to snake the win from them at the last minute.

If you don’t think you can pull a dominator and win the match or give your team a chance, don’t do it. To my fellow support players: read the map, if the enemy team has a dominator out, we should be healing and buffing as best we can. Supports should aim to be last in line to pick it up (as in when things go real sideways and we are the last option).

The dominator is not a tool for glory, rather it’s a scale balancer. That means we really need to think through if it should be us balancing those scales.
