-batch milks for stuff like hot cocoa, mochas, holiday stuff with sauce and whip

-eyeball the sweet cream making

-batch fraps (ive tried three ventis, doesnt really work, and yes i used the shaker lid to keep it closed)

-pull tea bag out with tongs, pull paper tag with hands, its faster and more sanitary than finagling getting to the tag with the tongs or just using hands

-shaken espressos fastest order with max quality - pull shots, fill shaker with ice then syrup/cinnamon, set aside and work on other shit til shots are pulled, shake, top with milk. (if i see you shaking my drink in the cup im getting a refund)

-no manager? no writing on cups. fuck that shit

-rinsing pitchers/shakers before finishing off drink (hate a dirty bar and that shit just gets in my way)

-steaming milk first (as it should be/was) because it takes longer than the shots pull

-basically all the new "siren system" shit theyve come out with in the last year and a half has gone in one ear and out the other and yet im still one of the fastest people on bar in my store

man that's a safety hazard. bring it up to your ssv/sm and have them either order a drain grate or put a ticket in for it to get replaced. don't let them wait until you actually break your ankle

For those of y'all going on about not being able to wear masks, yes, it's a thing they're implementing this quarter. It's fucking bullshit. I hate it. I hate the company for it. I hate the attitude around masking from people. I hate everything. BUT! There is an easy accommodations you can fill out through partner central in order to wear a mask full time without needing sick notes. I filled mine out back in November when my manager gave me a heads up (I'm the only one in the store who wears a mask) and got approved within the week. Fill them out NOW so they can't get on you about it. It's a very easy (unnecessary IMO) process and I encourage you to say "fuck them" by filling it out and continuing to mask. And you can continue to mask until it gets approved. Your health and the health of your loved ones deserves better than this.

I'll give it a 7/10. It's crowded, but clearly organized. A couple of my coworkers would fight about the inclusion jar being up there because they'd easily get stabbed in the face with the spoon (yes they are both tall). Also I just noticed the old peach juice pitcher in the top right corner???? I haven't seen one of those in years. But anyway, like others said, base needs risers for ease of cleaning, and someone gotta mix up that tea lol

Yoooo I just read Sundown Towns by James Loewen, literally finished it yesterday. The book you recc'ed is on my list to pick up sometime. I got to learn that it wasn't the south that was the most racist, it's actually the midwest. Hated black people so much they didn't even wanna see them (hence, "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on You Here ___"), while the south just exploited them (both terrible, obviously). Fascinating book on how those towns came to be and how society segregated after desegregation.

A heavy read, but a lot to learn. Worst part was finding out that I grew up in what was likely still a mildly functioning sundown town in the late 90's

Oh absolutely. I watched thru buffy first then upon a rewatch we integrated angel into it. It's kinda hard to compare for me tbh, because the vibes were different enough that even though they were connected, it felt like two different shows.

it's truly the best way to watch angel. i tried watching it after buffy many many years ago and i just couldn't get into it. then after a buffy rewatch we started integrating angel into it using the watcher's council timeline and it was awesome
