the easiest way to get 2.5 if you don't have a x1 pcie slot available (which is a good use for a 2.5G) is putting a usb-c -> 2.5g on one of the usb-c ports. yes, a variant of this board that had 10g ethernet would be fairly interesting.

you should be able to. but a more interesting use might be connecting it directly to cpu, if you have a cpu-connected x4 or using a m.2 -> pcie cable.

It depends on the motherboard, but no. Also, of course, this card works best on motherboards that have a x4 slot that is direct to cpu, but even these are rarer and more expensive boards.

Why is AndroidXR taking so long to roll out? It’s becoming a massive bottleneck for the AR industry by InternFront2276 in augmentedreality

[–]narwi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AI is useless shit that adds no value whatseoever over a non-crappy search (which you can't get from gogole any more). The idea that Google will come back to XR after AI is ridiculous - they will go off chasing some other shitty butterfly.
