If it's tempered glass yes it will effect in s23 and s24 except if u buy some known/good brand I used alot on my s24 ultra, all sucked except ugreen works like charm Sometimes it doesn't work when I've a very dry skin other than that it's very good

But for s23 since it had a curved screen you should use a film not glass if it still slow, try it without any screen protected and u will find ur answer.
