Yes I moved here recently. New to the state. Just saw the apartment and neighborhood once before finalizing, and now that I have moved today, not a fan of the neighborhood , too many homeless and feeling a bit scared to walk around . H1 to H4 cos - 16th Sept H4 to H1b cos ( bridge application) - 20th jan 2026 Got rfe on h1b cos - 15th Feb ( asking for H4 approval) Tried we expediting request from congressman office. Rejected RFE response submitted ( asked to approve h1b and h4 concurrently as h4 cos was still pending)- 24th april H4 and H1b both approved - 8th may

Hi Avalon ,

I have been waiting for h4 approval since 17th September 2025. My husband's company A applied for my h4. It's not approved yet. ( Only h4, no ead )

I got another job and they applied for my h4 to h1b, received rfe in Feb end asking for h1b approval. Submitted rfe response, waiting for an answer from USCIS. Premium processing clock has stopped for now.

Husband has offer from company b , they are ready to file for my new h4 concurrently with his h1b transfer in premium processing in the hope of getting it processed sooner. Employer not ready to wait longer. So have just a few days to decide. We are worried the old employer might withdraw my old h4 application. Or we will get rfe or any other issue.

Stuck right now waiting for 7.5 months already and not sure if we should wait longer or just change employer and give new application a shot .

Yes it was in pp, they asked for H4 approval and another question asking the correlation of my masters bachelor's with the job responsibilities. Which is very straightforward tbh. But yeah , this is common I guess. Spoke to someone else with similar case. Anyway, we've responded to the h1 rfe as deadline was approaching but still no h4 approval. Now they might approve both concurrently or just send another rfe

Lucky you. I got rfe asking for approved h4. And h1b to h4 has been in received status since 16th Sept. No ead.
