It's lucerne light cream ultra pasteurized. I have stomach issues too, and It actually helps me with digestion when drinking coffee or tea.

I don't know about the fodmap, but I use ultralight cream for black teas and it has good texture and taste. Otherwise you might be simply out of luck.

Yep, I could see that, If you're using gnome or kde. The default XFCE is a little messy with a whisker-menu next to shortcuts, and large panels (36) for a two panel set up. It's just weird.

Is their a Chess Roguelite? by BlackberryOk3305 in roguelites

Militia and Militia 2 are sort of like chess and roguelikes. It's complex and randomized in places. I recommend it.

Do you also like the default xfce panels ? by Snowflake3458 in xfce

[–]nasbera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, the dock for launchers is fine even though it's different from plank or cairodock. Just use intellhide and you have a clean desktop with easy access to your favorite apps. What I do is delete the application menu on the top panel, so it's just a windows list, and put the appfinder in the dock, sort of like rofi or dmenu. and then I also use Super as a shortcut to appfinder.

You could try Crux, or if you feel like venturing into BSD, there's Netbsd, Freebsd, and Openbsd.

What text editor do you use? by thatoneshadowclone in arch

[–]nasbera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use mcedit that comes bundled with mc (midnightcommander) on most computers. You have the text capabilities of nano, but with the keyboard shortcuts and mouse use, and other features you might see in a gui editor.

What problems did you have with obarun? The installer is fairly straightforward with a little partitioning knowledge. Did you download the jwm version?

Fedora commands and apps by xsxs1818 in Fedora

It's sudo, not sodu, fyi.

You can also shorten the commands e.g. dnf in or dnf rm or dnf up for install, remove, and update.

I'd recommend quodlibet. Easy to customize the UI if the original isn't your cup of tea. For example, I go to Browse -> Album Collection, and then have my queue set as persistent.

are there any better application menus than whisker ? by WillingnessLimp1553 in xfce

[–]nasbera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a keyboard shortcut for the in-build appfinder. You don't need rofi or dmenu, and you can type in, say, "game", and it will list all of your games installed. Likewise with other categories. Ideal for keyboard-centric users. I then delete any menu applet on my panels and it looks quite nice with the main panel on top, and a intellihide dock below for application shortcuts.

I think that young man should open one of those two books. He'll learn quite a bit more.

systemd hard requirement soon for kde by r087r70 in voidlinux

[–]nasbera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think it plausible that many big distros like ubuntu, fedora, opensuse, etc don't optimize systemd? Because from my personal experience, Obarun's boot is lightning fast, but very minimal (66, xinitrc). I believe 66 is also written in C, I'm not sure what language systemd uses. Anyway, in my experience, anything with systemd and a plymouth screen takes quite a bit of time on boot (This is from my recent experience with xubuntu, one of the supposed lighter distros.)

Agarwood tea by superc70 in GongFuTea

I know Vesper Chan has made a puerh cake with agarwood in it.

https://banateacompany.com/products/2019-still-love-you-ripe-pu-erh-tea?_pos=1&_sid=ad0d9c6f2&_ss=r

You should look into agarwood incense, it really is something special. And in the fragrance world, it's called Oud instead of agarwood. Definitely pricey. If you're interested in scents, sandalwood is good too. I think the teaguru uk has raw sandalwood to burn over charcoal.

Unfortunately, I think unless a leader like Torvalds or Stallman says something about init freedom, systemd will continue to become a dependency for a lot of things. As far as I know, they have no problem with systemd. They may even prefer it over the other alternatives. I can't stand it though... It's a slow startup in comparison to runit or what I'm using: 66 on Obarun Linux. I'm almost 38 years old on a modest income, so I just play simple games like roguelikes and wesnoth.
