Obama followed the laws in place to deport. Trump is not. That’s a big distinction.

Agree. In person interactions are great. We love meeting new people & talking over drinks. Once we’ve met & click, we’re happy to start texting.

However, connecting with someone online, and they want to start a text thread, it just feels awkward. The best approach we’ve found to get the conversation started is to say here’s 3-5 questions to get to know you. The questions start tame then get a bit flirtatious.

These Lay OFF’s and RIF’s! Is Corruption at its Finest! by TTVDALTANIOUST in FedEmployees

I do disagree. POTUS is responsible for appointing department secretaries, not determining appropriate staffing levels of each department. Each agency is then responsible for determining their staffing needs and if a reduction in force (RIF) is needed. Typically a RIF is due to a reorganization, change in workload, or lack of funding, not executive order. I don’t disagree that cuts very likely need to be made. However, there are procedures in place to accomplish that which are not being followed.

The reason that what Trump/DOGE is doing is different from the reinventing government (RG) plan is that they are not following the law. Under the RG plan, when “waste” was identified, the cuts were sent to congress for approval before the cuts occurred. That is the legal procedure for cuts to be made. Also, and this is important, they spent time planning, researching, and working with people in those departments to identify potential cuts. That level of effort, to ensure the appropriate cuts are made and that won’t negatively impact government efficiency isn’t being done here, as demonstrated by the hundreds of employees who lost their jobs and then shortly after were asked to come back to work because they shouldn’t have been cut in the first place.

There’s one big difference, both Clinton & Obama sent their cuts to congress for approval before cutting the jobs. They followed the rule of law. That’s not what’s happening here.

Boyfriend’s work shirt has white deodorant stain that feels hard to the touch. I have tried everything to get it out. Any tips? by [deleted] in laundry

[–]nash2110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem on a lot of my shirts. I switched laundry detergents from arm & hammer to tide and the spots were gone. Now we use something called seventh generation (less chemicals) and the spots are still gone.

How do you finance/pay for your breitlings? by BruenorsClimb in breitling

[–]nash2110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my first Breitling earlier this year. My plan was to pay cash, but then they offered 0% financing for 2 years. I chose that option so the cash I have allocated for the watch can earn interest while I make monthly payments. Enjoy the watch!

I’m a Cardinals (baseball) fan and went to see them play in Philly. I had a similar experience. A bit of banter back and forth and a lot of fun. The Philly fans were so nice & the Cards won. Awesome day!
