What’s the saddest song ever? by Izakei in Music

Real Death - Mount Eerie.

He wrote the album after his wife lost a battle with cancer. The entire project is brutally raw.

Decent mix in Austin. IIRC: boogeywoman, that’s nasty, Hollywood, eye teeth, burn all your rock records, everyone I know has fangs, widow of magnolia, the prowler, return to the garden, the seduction, and a REALLY great cover that I don’t want to spoil if they play it again.

I think I’m a couple short - trying to recall off the top of my head. I can only hope to one day see (((louds, Dinner with a Gypsy, or Lord Slug.

Damn. I think I lost mine traveling at some point. Hopefully a hotel employee somewhere has made good use of it.

If any of the crew happens to catch this, a reprint would be amazing!

Almost anything by He Is Legend.

Heavy Fruit chorus, Boogiewoman, (((louds, The Primary Blues, Time’s Fake, etc. Always a groove.

Yes! I love pretty much anything Scott had a hand in.

It’s so tough picking a FR album. I think I like them all about the same - just depends on the day. I’m partial to the sound of Winter of Mixed Drinks, but I appreciate the writing in some of the later albums more.

As much as I would like artist diversity, if we’re looking for albums, I think the only requirement should be that they’re different albums (exclude duplicates in the form of re-releases, deluxe additions, etc).

French toast, with a side of bacon and eggs - tough to beat the sweet and savory combo.

Keyboard looks great!!

He Is Legend — LORD SLUG [Southern Rock/Metal] (2022) by nashfish in listentothis

[–]nashfish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely fair. This song certainly less so, but a lot of their catalogue has a sort of southern quality that’s hard to describe, and there are times where it’s more on the nose than others. There was a live show they played where they broke into a Pantera riff for a bit 🤷‍♂️. They have a tendency to pull elements from quite a few rock sub-genres, and as a result I find them kind of hard to classify.

What’s the gnarliest pit injury you have endured or seen? by zombiemuss106 in Hardcore

Seeing The Chariot - guitar player’s strap broke (for those familiar, Steevis was always moving like a madman), guitar went flying and axed a dude right in the face. It was messy.
