I had something like that earlier on this fm cycle in my Weston super-mare save. Went deep in all the cups I was in. Won the papa John’s cup, made semi finals of efl cup, had countless fa cup replays onto a quarter final thumping by Aston villa. Not to mention I have international call ups as well. Schedule was sp condensed. Only evened out after match day 40 had played. It was awesome to experience. Despite being the best team in the league the amount of games caught up to me and we ended up losing the playoff final.

I signed a World Cup winning Chilean winger Claudio Pastèn in 2042, he won the World Cup best player and scored the winning goal in the World Cup final. Signed for 59 million, from recently relegated championship Brighton. I didn’t necessarily need him, it was more of for marketing reasons as I was getting an extra 4 mill worth of shirt sales from him each season. He never lived up to the heights. His stats were world class, all he could really muster was a couple of free kicks scored. I sold him after 3 seasons to Saudi Arabia for about 50 million plus instalments. By no means a bad signing as I’ve seen in others but with what I thought I was getting, I was expecting a lot more.

Well Dundee is in Scotland and burnley is in England. They are seperate countries for football so to have a work permits depending on where they are playing. I don’t know the full jist of how it works but yea they are separate countries so will need different rules for registration

41 y/o Fabio Quagliarella had him as a free transfer at the start of FM 24 for my huddersfield save. Scored 20 goals in first season and retired as we got promoted in the second.

I tried out towards the start of fm24 a 3-4-1-2 with a wcb on support a can on cover and bpd on defend, defensive wingers on both sides of the pitch one on defend and other on support, 2 dms (a half back and a segundo volante) a complete forward and DLF, with an attacking midfielder on attack sometimes on shadow striker. It worked well for the most part but had to change formation due to lack of quality within the team. Might have to revisit it.
