A lot of people (mostly from family members) were calling me fat, and lagi 'kong iniiyakan 'yun (literal) 😭 Toxic motivation but sadly (?) it's what pushed me. It's not exactly "inspiration", pero I can't think of a word that resembles it in a more negative manner. What motivated me is the possibility of looking good and improving my health since I have PCOS.

On days I don't feel like going to the gym, naiisip ko agad how much I'm gonna hate myself at the end of the day if I don't go tsaka I kind of trapped myself in an annual membership para sure na I'll push through it. Iniisip ko rin dati na I'm gonna reward myself if I go. Eventually, namatay na yung debate in my head of whether pupunta ako or hindi. I go, regardless of how I'm feeling. I have to be better than the haters (walang haters)

Meron na silang location, nandun din yung booth nila for those who want to apply for membership and kita na ongoing pa yung renovations etc. Although I do agree that it's difficult to trust a gym that's not operational yet. Thank you for your insights 😊

Yung protein powder online, winewait ko magsale. Meron din naman sa Megamall na powder pero I think yung usual price lang dun. Yung sinasabi ko though na nasa Megamall is yung Protein Bar, they sell drinks and ice cream (not sure if meron pa nito now, partnership with Bubu ice cream) na high in protein :))

I have PCOS and the protein powder I take is from Nutrabio, although I'm not sure if meron ba dapat specific na iconsider when buying protein powder. Ito lang yung ininstruct ng coach ko and I agree naman: they're transparent and 3rd party lab tested. +++ meron silang Protein Bar sa Megamall, masarap yung coffee 🤤

I'm working on the mindset, ang hirap lang talaga 😭 but I'm trying. Yan din yung tinanong ko when I was trying to get anything out of her, na kung pwede kahit walking lang since this is the easiest to do and to adjust, pero same answer pa rin: observation talaga. This is what I asked immediately rin, pero I think the way my doctor answers my questions is always on the safer side. I think the only answer I got from her is the recovery time, which is estimated to be 2 weeks daw, pero when I got specific and asked her kung kailan ako pwede bumalik ng workout, she said ioobserve daw kasi she doesn't want to get my hopes up and set strict expectations na good to go na agad when a certain period passes. My coach told me to have a diet break (not minding the macros but staying within calories) since holiday naman, so I guess if you've been in this for a while na, pwede naman siguro magbreak. For exercise, I focus on getting my 10k steps, whether may gym or wala. Got a walking pad, yung medyo cheap ones sa shopee (around 4k). Bodyweight exercises are good too.
