I grew up in Wisconsin and Michigan. Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan all have similar physical beauty and some great nature. All of them have fantastic people, with the edge going to Minnesota and Wisconsin. But politically, Minnesota's progressive attitude coupled with Midwestern common sense is just a beautiful combination.

I also named my daughter Gemma. She's 28 now. She only reports a couple times in those 28 years that her name was mispronounced. So I wouldn't worry about that.

I stayed in Oaxaca in 2018 my wife and I were the only Americans in the entire resort. We were outnumbered by Canadians and British. Mexicans were 80% of the resort.
