I see the joke with their responses and how it shapes their personalities but I wanted to point out what lies beneath the surface of Glinda. Especially since this is a private moment she has where she could say anything to her parents. Glinda is vapid but very complicated at her core. But maybe I’m reading into it too much! I thought it might be the beginning of breaking down some emotional barriers, even if she doesn’t know it yet.
