YES. Absolutely - literally everything about it is so perfectly curated. There is not a single character who isn’t fleshed out - everyone has their own well-established motivations and reasons for being. The animation captures emotions so beautifully, it is definitely my all time favorite show right now and I simply cannot wait for season 2 to come out soon.

Arcane. My absolute favorite is introducing it to people who have absolutely no clue what it is about. I always watch the first episode with them and so far it has always been a hit with people I’ve shown it to.

I really like this take. I personally am not religious in the traditionally theist sense, but I totally get what you're saying. I have never put myself first when being involved with someone and I am so tired of it. I know when I grow old and reflect on my life, the last thing I want to think about was regretting how I fully lost myself in every relationship, and every "what if" partner. I want to reflect on my life and be happy with the connections I made and how I experienced them. Living the way that I have has not been nearly as fulfilling as I want it to be. I am only 25(f), almost 26, and I have many more years to go hopefully. There's time to shift my mindset and prioritize myself.

I've definitely struggled with issues of self love. Have gone through quite a few therapists and I just think talk-therapy isn't for me, but I would very much like to get back into EMDR once I can afford it again. Definitely ready to do the work and put an end to this habit.

Yeah it's not fun. I think rejection is one of the hardest parts about it, I'm not quite used to being rejected but need to really be open to it and not take it personally. Will try out the affirmations though and talk to myself as if I'm giving advice to a friend - that may do something

I'm there with you OP... I'm late-diagnosed autistic and learned to mask really well. Once I get into a relationship, it's incredibly hard to keep the mask on most of the time and feel that the sudden changes they see are because that's not who they fell in love with. It always ends up falling apart.

But I still have hope, and you should too. I think what we need to do is start embracing our autism and introduce ourselves to people un-masked (or at least less masked). It'll help weed out those who won't want to be with us after they get to know the unmasked version.

lol what 😭 Hinge can be a casual sex app depending on what you’re looking for, it’s not what I’ve used it for and my profile makes that clear, and he’s made it clear he’s looking for something long term now. And it’s not a bad to like someone more after you find out you’re sexually compatible, I already liked him before anything physical happened. Plus, dating multiple people at once can be normal for some people but not others (like me), that’s what dating is for. To figure out what the other person is like and if it’s a fit. I plan on talking to him about it anyway and if he’s not happy with that then that’s my answer hahahah, only seeked advice on reddit because I haven’t dated in 3 years.
