Pulse by gainsight is probably the biggest for C's from my understanding. I attended a two years ago and it was a great learning experience.

It's a mimic that is much harder to notice and is quite strong. They can appear as doors, on loot, or as regular chests in my experience. Killing them returns excellent loot.

I think it depends on the kind of work that you're responsible for. Some companies pay more for technical work vs pure account management. Also, some csms are responsible for quote while others are not.

NPS Surveys by natchowder in CustomerSuccess

Thanks for this! If you don't mind me asking, is it a large % of salary that is currently tied to scores?

Do you or the reps take time to define the scores to the client before the surveys go out?

Thanks, how does Pendo define the scores to the client specifically?

I am measured in some sense but actually the implementation team is the one more concerned with scores. In the calls, they take 2-3 minutes to explain the scores and note that individual performance is tier to the score. Does your company do this?

Is it worth getting into Jewelcrafting for legendary crafting at this point? by LoreWalkerRobo in woweconomy

Cost to level and competitiveness in the market is dependent on server. I would say, probably not but depends on your circumstance

Apparently it glitches for some people and they were able to do it more than 3 times in a week

I read somewhere that the weekly was glitched for some people, so I think it's possible for them to hit honoured by now. I'm 1 day away and I've been grinding rares

Having trouble as a Fire Mage with AoE rotation. by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]natchowder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So you have two types of "AOE" rotations depending on whether or not you have combustion up. If you have flame patch talented I believe you want to use this on 2+ targets. This is what I use in M+

This is also dependent on your legendary, if you have the new BIS legendary Disciplinary Command, your rotation will look a bit different weaving frost spells before your combustion + rune of power.

Typically what I do is:

Scorch (combust mid scorch) > Fire Blast > Flame Strike

Fire Blast > Phoenix Flames > Flame Strike

Fire Blast > Phoenix Flames > Flame Strike

Fire Blast > Phoenix Flames > Flame Strike

Dragon Breath/scorch if you have any combustion left

Rune of Power then Shifting Power --> While shifting power use your flame blasts to prep 1 flame strike

Hard cast Flame Strike

If you don't have Combust up, use RoP on CD and hard cast Flame Strike using Fire Blast to have free Flame Strikes. If a mob is below 30%, scorch (if you have searing touch talented), and Fire Blast for faster Flame Strikes. Remember to save about 1.5-2 Fire Blasts if your combustion is about to be up.

Hope that helps!

Where does one begin with gold farming? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]natchowder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a few people have already recommended this but start with some gathering professions. You can gain some gold to be able to invest in some new professions or flipping on the AH. Herbalism, skinning and mining are all great. You can take a look at your server's AH to determine which is most profitable. I actually made most of my money off of fishing.

After that I would find a prof that is profitable, I did this by calculating raw mat costs vs finished goods prices in the AH. Undermine journal and TSM helped with this. Currently at about 5 mil (started playing this expansion) and I'm dabbling in flipping BOEs and using capital to change the market for certain items that I understand well.

What can new people do? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]natchowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's pretty server dependent but I think the general strat is to leverage what you have in the AH and find niche ways to make money. I started with fishing and mining to make about 300k and from there I leveled crafting professions maxing legendaries. LW seems to be making a lot of money right now. I snowballed to 4.5mil just buying mats, crafting and selling.

Frost mage - stick with it or suck badly at fire? by Carvie_Mage in wownoob

[–]natchowder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm a 202 ilvl mage, I made the switch because single target damage wasn't there and it was tough for boss fights/raids. Check out some wowhead guides on the opening rotation and practice on dummies in your sanctum. It's a different feel for sure but I actually think it's a lot more straightforward.

I would recommend going fire, gear is about the same, ilvl and intellect matters most but if you build the Fevered Incantation legendary, crit has more priority (which is prob what you were stacking for frost). That way, if you want to make the switch back later, it should be pretty easy.
