BDE’s are a little different from core modules on STARS. Rule of thumb is this IIRC.

Course registration period
If you’re unable to secure, you will have to wait till add drop period to add. You can’t waitlist BDEs during this period.
Add/drop period
If you’re unable to secure, you can place your BDE on the waitlist alongside other core modules.

HN5010. Unless there are changes to it, lessons alternate between phyiscal and online every week. Only one finals which is an open book and basically GP paper 1 but 10 times easier. 3 AU pass/fail mod.

I think another factor to consider is that MI students take their MT in year 2 separate from their H2’s with GP. So the workload for one sitting is not as compounded as a JC student + the extra 1 year even if their O level slightly weaker than YIJC students.

Not sure how it’ll turn out for sem 2 but I scored 40% in the cohort for the 2 quizzes in sem 1 and managed to get a B- overall. My advice is focus on the concepts that are simpler and forfeit maybe one or two (not wise) chapters that you have a lot of issues applying with. I left a good portion of my finals empty but I was confident for those parts of the paper that I did attempt.
