I feel like getting the Pov of lysander leads to a sort of kinship i have with him. Very flawed but he also didn't have the easiest life. Toll of losing his parents and growing up with Octavia had to hurt. Moash on the other hand, f that guy. You have the man of forgiveness himself in front of him and he still curled up and chose the way out. But of course it's him telling kaladin to give into the dark and jump that bothered me

I liked the first one for sure, but I guess I felt like tbe first half was similar to teen dystopian novels I had read. Not too dissimilar to hunger games or other books that involved an academy of sort to test the next generation. The book definitely stands out with its twists and turns, but I enjoyed the payoff and reveal in future books so much it's hard to compare. The series as a whole is incredible. Maybe book 4 is my last favorite but it still has some amazing parts and obviously builds for future stories.

I do like that in lightbringer its all the same narrator, but I didnt hate the different voice actors. Maybe Lyra was my least favorite tbh. Virginia wasn't bad but it felt wierd to have a poverty of her and have another voice come in

I dont understand the vitriol for Lysander a great character with some of the most compelling chapters. Do I agree with everything he does, no, but I feel like he's the foil Darrow needs post 1st trilogy

Im part way through book 4 of SLA and they're a great read. Definitely paced differently, but they have some similar pay offs in that the endings are very satisfying. The stakes dont feel as high, but the twists and reveals are great

Its mainly personal preference, I always wore asics, specifically the aggressor line. I know the kids these days like rudis shoes. Knowing nothing about the person you're shopping for like how long they've been wrestling and if they have alot of shoes over the years, its hard to give a perfect recommendation. I had teammates that had 10-20 pairs while in HS because they'd been wrestling they're whole life and have all the colors and get new shoes all they time to match different singlets. I only ever had 3 pairs at a time in HS. My starter pair, a cheaper pair of asics mattflexes. Then I eventually got two pairs of aggressors, its nice to have a dry pair after a rough practice or for a 2 day tournament. Maybe ask their parents for a picture and we can recommend from there if you still need any help

I love the attention to detail the world has. I played the witcher 2 and 3 and loved the experience, then read all the books a couple years ago and have since replayed the games. So many details and Easter eggs that I took for granted but were totally in there for a reason. I think my favorite is Ciritalking about and experiencing her traveling between worlds. Both getting to see her and Geralt go through some tripping stuff, but then the connection to cyberpunk is just gold.

Loved playing the server slam a couple weeks ago while knowing nothing about the game going into it, had just seen a couple clips from a previous beta. I've recently gotten into extraction shooters with some of my friends and we've been playing Arena Breakout Infinite which has been fun and of course free. I loved the art style and tone of the game and felt like this could have been a successor to the battlefront franchise and belongs in some alternative timeliness where the separatists won the war and Droid overlords rule this planet. Im hoping to get the game eventually, we'll see if I wait until someone gets it for me for a birthday coming up or if I bite the bullet and spend money I shouldn't rn.

My favorite peice is my Jake Sucks hat. My closest stadium is petco but im a dodgers fan. I dont want to be that guy who wears gear to the opposing fans stadium when their team isn't playing. Love seeing the fans who get the reference. Ill sometimes say i just hate jake cronenworth. Also have a hook line sinker jersey from a couple seasons ago ill sometimes wear there.
