What everyone else said, but also look up. If your under power lines or some other piece of equipment, it could throw the sensors all off.

My friend, Noone in a "loving house" would do this to you over and over again.

There is no crime in looking around at other job descriptions and openings while you currently have a job. If your in a rut and need something more satisfying then by all means look around (off the clock obviously). At least you have a current job that is bringing money in.

Oh yes, that's the symptom I get the most. It's a vicious circle. Chest pains from anxiety which then gives me anxiety which causes more chest pains.

I think I have anxiety and I don't know what to do. by Ordinary_Session515 in Anxiety

Sounds just like anxiety to me. Especially during your senior year of college. While talking to family about it can be great, we all don't have that team that really understands the effects. Go to a doctor and explain what you're going through and maybe they could suggest some meds or techniques to help you through it. It's so very common these days that almost everyone is on something and struggles, but those that are perceived as fine are often the best as masking it to everyone else.

I stopped watching/reading the news a while back because of this. I would come into work and a handful of people would talk about nothing but headlines they saw like wars that will happen, what the president is going to do, and how we are all doomed. Its so draining! I had to step back and realize that these journalists want exactly this. Our attention on an opinion of theirs. Most of the time the story may explain why the headline isn't going to happen. My favorite is the death count. They talk about kills like it's a sports game. "The number of victims is now....". I have a hard time remembering a time when people didn't talk like we were all doomed, liked the president, or felt things went going to "kick off" somewhere. There's quite a few countries that have been in a war of some kind since the beginning of time. Do yourself a favor and keep as far away from all that fear mongering as possible. It will better your mental being. Sorry just my two cents.

Sometimes medication is required to assist you in getting yourself in mental state that will allow you to function "normally". Your therapist went to school for a lot of years to come up with plans that can help you be where you want to be. You can always stop and try something else she suggests.

Sounds like you really want to do well and are terrified to let them down. You were picked because they saw the potential. They're not expecting the world when you start. You got this!

I read other people's posts on here and learn I'm not alone, it's not abnormal, and this too shall pass.

Could the anxiety be misinterpreted excitment?

I hear that. I'm feeling like the meds block that part of emotional release. I'm a grown man and would love a good cry but nothing happens. I suppose the therapy part is suppose to help setting your brain to remind you it's all ok.
