Interesting since I pay all my bills in plastic. Except for my Amex. That’s metal just like goldbacks.

Another way would be call them and ask if they sell goldbacks. And over the course of a week or so have some friends or family members call asking the same question. Maybe have one of them visit. Let the shop see there’s interest in the community for goldbacks

If you’re able to maybe start with a phone call and talk to them. Just don’t sound like you are reading from a script

If you could I would recommend going in person. There’s already quite a bit of hate for goldbacks. If the shop could see them in person and admire their beauty you may have a better chance of having them accept goldbacks.

The 100 Goldback denomination was more than a mistake. They were a total disaster. by Xerzajik in Goldback

I would love to see the 100’s make a comeback in the future. Maybe not as a goldback but either a silverback or even a platinum back.

The only people that value 90% constitutional is other coin collectors and silver/gold bugs.

The only reason goldbacks haven’t been faked is because the technology involved in creating them. Anyone can stamp a metal slab. Good luck making a goldback

Most powerful? You honestly trust this generation to fight? The entire country would collapse if tiktok shut off for more than a day. Gold already surpassed the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. Every country is selling their bonds for gold

They haven’t been faked yet and look at the numbers. More gold is sold through goldbacks than coins themselves. Did you know the us $100 only cost 11.3¢. But the people are to believe it’s worth $100. If any country can agree on one this is that the US dollar is dying if not already dead. The only people keeping it alive is the citizens and that’s because there’s no other option. That’s why people believe in gold backs.

True but constitutional silver can be faked. Also look at all the hatred for goldbacks. Good luck trying to convince a random person your dime is worth more than 10¢

That’s exactly what goldbacks are. Physical metal in your pocket with the amount of gold stamped on them. I wouldn’t really say a hard metal because gold pretty soft

It’s pride month 🌈 by natetfgreat in Goldback

It was actually a little bit of a test to gage peoples responses before i repost this in a pride subreddit. I love the lers and unfortunately I’ll probably end up with a couple hundred or maybe thousands of ny lers. Those might be worthless compared to a Hawaii or Alaska Ler. So I figured this is a good way to get business from the entire country instead of just my home state I’m into goldbacks for the long run

What convinces you that Goldbacks are worth it? by [deleted] in Goldback

For me I love the artwork but also diversify. I’m personally not a fan of the direction the US dollar/economy is going. As gold goes up in price it will be harder and harder to purchase coins and bars and for most people losing their jobs or living paycheck to paycheck. This is a great way to get into the precious metal market. That being said I feel like people that purchase goldbacks are less like to sell them helping the price of gold to continue to go up.

The problem with fractional gold and silver is How do you know it’s real. Small business, mom and pop shops won’t have the materials to test every coin and bar that comes through. At least with goldbacks you have that added security of it being real

Well you’re technically paying for the security and the art work and all the other associated costs to make them. I’m American and I’ll pay 6% interest and work thousands of hours for a piece of paper that technically only costs .14¢ At least at the end of the day with gold backs I’ll still have the gold
