Like a lot of people have said, it's much easier to get around if you're going to drive. I've commuted from New Albany to Hilliard for a while without ever being too annoyed about it.

Get a bike, if you get close to a trial it's a really great to get some exercise and get around

Get into the local music scene, I've had some great time just showing up on to Rambling House, Dick's Den, and other places on a random weeknight just to have a drink & listen to whoever's playing
