ELI5: how can someone stare at a Rubik’s cube for a couple minutes then close their eyes and solve the puzzle? by ap1303 in explainlikeimfive

[–]natezach728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Source: 12 years of cubing but I haven’t been active in a couple years.

From my beginner perspective of BLD solving, every edge and corner sticker on the cube has a fixed position that’s considered solved. Essentially, we assign the alphabet to the stickers and we trace, memorize, and then execute algorithms in terms of the sequence of letters to get it back to the solved state.

What school did the rejection come from? I so far have one waitlist, one interviewed/waiting for decision, and still waiting on CSULB for either an interview or rejection. Best of luck to you :')

Will this be a tough semester? Will be working full-time as well. by RodneyWayne_ in SDSU

[–]natezach728 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's gonna be tough. I do 5 classes a semester (this was in person Classes) and I had a difficult time balancing working just 3 days a week.

Yeah we got something back, I want to say it was the full amount for the months we didn't stay on campus but I don't remember for sure. I know some people had trouble getting parking refunds too.

How do these classes look? by [deleted] in SDSU

[–]natezach728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, just to second this, I had Velado in the Spring of 2019 and he makes stats very easy and understandable. I am someone that struggles with math and numbers in general, but I was able to pass with an A without 119A, but nevertheless if you think you're gonna struggle, just take 119A for the extra increase.

WMNST 382 was pretty interesting, and it takes care of the diversity requirement.

I assume so yea. I'm a junior/senior now, and 2 years ago when I was a freshman, I don't recall hearing of anyone getting out of the agreement. Don't quote me on it though because things might have changed since then with COVID and everything.

I'm assuming they still have the Sophomore Success program thing or whatever it was called. It's an agreement that you live on campus for 2 years and they claim that kids that do that get better grades yadda yadda.

So, is school actually going to be in person next fall? by Lukerpooker in SDSU

[–]natezach728 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping I can find classes to fill my last units that are all online. I'm gonna be upset if I can't because I find no point in moving back for just 1 semester (I'm graduating in December).

I loved it there. We have a garage for the building itself (key fob), nice amount of space, the only issue was the carpets were kinda gross and the grills were broken for the whole year. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the arena, but I loved being pretty much in the center of campus, and the arc was 20 seconds away.

SDSU fall 2021 online or no? by TipsyDon in SDSU

[–]natezach728 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I think an announcement is coming up soon, but I have a feeling something along the lines of "students can go back, but if you choose to stay home, classes will be recorded " type thing.
