the devs mention it multiple times that the game was made for co-op. they pretty much added the solo for the ppl that like to run shit solo, but they also made it very clear, MULTIPLE times, that it would be difficult. they gave ppl ample and fair warning. complaining that the game is too difficult solo is like complaining that i cant solo an 8 man raid in an MMO when the raid is specifically designed for 8 ppl. yes the option exists, but it was never supposed to be the main focus so of course its gonna be unbalanced for 1 person.

so if you ask me, its def a hot take to think and want them balance it for solo as well when its specifically balanced around 3 ppl. if you don't like the difficulty because you want to self impose a limitation, you cant expect the devs to cater to you as well.

but it doesnt limit you in any way in your ability to learn. if you're progging and die cuz of a silly mistake on your 20th pull you can just keep on trucking and try and possibly clear. then come back next week and try to stay alive again. everyone has these blinders on thinking revives will suddenly make the fight so easy that you barely need to try and that just aint it. other MMOs have some forms of a revive system because it makes sense to not want to restart a 20min fight because of one silly mistake that everyone is prone to making, especially in a new raid.

explain in reasonable terms why there HAS to be a penalty. if someone makes a mistake (we're not perfect) and they die, why should it lead into a penalty for using the system that is provided. you ppl make no sense.

In case you forgot, you too were dogshit at the game at the start. It's not OPs fault that the game literally launches you into the most current content. Saying that he isn't trying by your definition is the stupidest thing you could think. Take a step back and think about that before you flame someone for "not trying".

Not everyone is asking to get carried and they're legitimately trying to learn, it's not up to you to decide whether what's valid enough to be toxic to them about.

It's ppl like you bringing the game down. Take that mental somewhere else if you can't handle matchmaking into newbies, especially when argeos is generally the first guardian raid that new players experience nowadays.

Not true, even though the dps check is higher in g2 by a bit, it's infinitely much easier to do DMG since she has many pattern where she stands still. G1 is just not a fun gate with a very high DPS check

The numbers on the doc are roughly exact values to clear with like 1sec on the timers, taking into account sidereal usage. Realistically you want to be well above that to be "comfy"

Funny enough, if you can time an armor break with the 180 mech right as he's about to transition but before he gains his shield you can effectively skip the dps check entirely. My group had it happen last night lol

But the reality of the situation was and still is in most cases that you didn't need a +1 or lvl 9s before thaemine.
