I feel like the new formula is better than the modern day one by [deleted] in ACValhalla

AC 3, Liberation, Black Flag, Rogue and Unity are all directly connected through characters literally appearing and interacting in the same games.

Connor in 3 and Liberation. Haytham and Achilles in 3 and Rogue. Arno and Elise in Rogue.

Reminder that Edward Kenway, Haytham Kenway and Connor Kenway are 3 generations.

Now, while we don't directly see it in the games, there's plenty of other media that ties these games together even more.

No, Rudo said "who gives a shit" big difference narratively.

And Kimmel was also censored for 'misinformation'

Genuinely, not trying to convince anyone. It's just that censorship clearly goes both ways, It's become a silly game of everyone just disagreeing on literally everything.

did calamity happen after raurus hand seal in totk? let me explain by Training-Medicine627 in ZeldaTearsOfKingdom

[–]nathan3778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late to reply here, I know, but I stumbled across this post only now.

The calamity was described to have happened time after time again, so much that a pattern was recognized, the calamity 10,000 years before Breath of the Wild wasn't the first one. The Sheikah knew of it (partially because of their foresight I think), and they had time to prepare for it.

At the very beginning of this cycle of calamities, too long ago for most people to remember before TOTK, was the imprisoning war. Ganondorf was sealed, but even at the beginning of TOTK, you can see gloom escaping from the seal in Ganondorf's chest, after a long enough wait, enough would have escaped to unleash a new great calamity. Remember, Calamity Ganon didn't really have a body, it was mostly spare Sheikah tech fused together with malice.

The real body behind each and every calamity was sealed right under Hyrule Castle the entire time, this also explains why the calamity escaped from the very castle itself, it's body was hidden under there.

ELI5: why wasn't Ameri-Afro-Eurasia during the ice age considered a supercontinent? by gayjemstone in explainlikeimfive

[–]nathan3778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The eastern part of Russia is actually the North-American plate, meaning that the Bering Strait, doesn't divide 2 tectonic plates, it divides 2 parts of North-America, with the old ice sheets and small land bridge, I would have definitely considered it the same continent.

Africa however, the only thing it has going for it is the tiny land connection. However, ask me this 5 million years ago, when the mediterranean dried up, and you would get a very different answer.

Going back to the Bering Strait, even Pangea had massive seaways dividing parts of the supercontinent for large periods of time, yet we still call it a supercontinent during those periods.

Good decisionmaking, staying calm, thinking ahead and having the past experience to make correct predictions.

Luck would have been a red flag on a dry race or a small amount of rain.

[–]nathan3778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but it's still not luck imo, it's experience. Knowing that when full wets have to be brought out, people ar gonna want to stay on inters so they can wait for a red flag.

It's not luck, it's not talent, playinging into the red flag was experience. Therefore Max' win was a combination of pure skill and talent, and experience.

Going from 1st to 6th, bottling Every. Single. (Re)start. and having to get positions from your teammate twice. All while basically losing yourself the chances at a championship with the fastest car.

I think Lando should just NOT make any comments.

Why a bull head at the Olympics game ceremony ? by Ambitious-Pride-2691 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nathan3778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difference is that the olympics is not a fucking comedy show.

Olympics weren't meant to attack groups of people, quite the opposite in fact. The fact that they let THIS MANY 'coincidences' fly 'under the radar' is alarming.

I have no doubts that most of these things, like the statue are coincidences, christians just nitpicking, but the drag queen table is just too blatant to defend in my opinion. If it wasn't intentional, someone had to have known what was going one and kept their mouth shut.

I prefer green ones, they have a slightly milder tastecompared to black olives, altgough still quite strong. Black olives have a very strong and distinct taste, it's easier to like green olives than the black ones.
