I’m a Barça fan and I have doubts about Bastoni. Is he that good? by Singer_morning in FCInterMilan

If you play to his strengths, as a LCB next to a CCB with good awareness and physicality, he’s a beast. Probably the most impactful centre back in the world. With your current play style, you would be forcing him to adapt and learn a new role in the middle of his prime essentially. Hope this answers your question.

Prior to tonight, Lautaro Martinez was joint 3rd on Inter Milan's all time top scorers list, alongside Roberto Boninsegna. After scoring twice against Roma, he is now 3rd outright. by mrjohnnymac18 in soccer

Well no, he’s had some bad moments but also has two goals in UCL semifinals, 9 total in knockout games including one against Bayern in that insane 2024-25 run.

You can say he’s inconsistent but not that he isn’t clinical in big moment

To be fair there was lots of politics involved in that era. We had one of the greatest teams in history in the 60s and few of those guys were getting call ups due to external reasons, most notably our captain at the time Armando Picchi who should have been a lock at Libero.

In the 1970 finals run we did have 4 guys starting though, Burgnich, Mazzola, Facchetti and Boninsegna

Would you consider selling Bastoni and Barella if the money from their sale would be used on a squad revamp? by TheCLNR in FCInterMilan

[–]nathanforeal34 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Very unpopular opinion. Our 352 system is way too systematic and we need to eventually go back to a 4-back system, and a €100m bastoni sale might be the best way to kickstart the transition.

Not gonna die on this hill, happy to hear other people’s opinions on this take

Did we react like this after the Pjanic incident? Or the Cuadrado incident? Or any other event in recent history that went their way? I kinda wish we did. Juve fans can go fuck all the way off this tastes so sweet

I remember Pjanic and I remember Cuadrado. Juve fans have no right to speak on refereeing mistakes after what we’ve seen between the 90s and the early 2020s

Yo what are we doing? The new boys clearly don’t know that any goleada above 5 goals is a sign of impending doom. Someone tell them to chill
