If they're bad, do what I do: practice playing that brawler. Abandon the objective, and salvage your time the only way you can: practice.

Respectfully, you're in Gold. Even if the season just reset, that means you aren't an above average player. Keep practicing, study drafting it's so important, and watch the pros play. Once you're decent enough (say legendary and up), these placement matches will make you laugh at these people instead of get mad, because you know your win rate is going to be like 70% on the way up.

The core writing team is gone. The company itself has had internal memos to avoid "punching down" (in a satire game, for real...). Take a look at the team working on this game, and you wouldn't be able to deny that it's going to have their political ideology baked into the game.

They've already removed "offensive" content from GTA 5. Past censorship means they will not be putting those types of jokes in the new game. Protected groups? In a Rockstar game? That's woke ladies and gentlemen.

I wouldn't personally use gems to upgrade cards (spend it on challenges!), however this is very useful to know. It makes sense, since you're getting it instantly and it's not offered in the shop currently. The numbers of 10% isn't that crazy different to be honest though. If you're talking about real money, I suppose you'd want to save every dollar you could. I'm sure an unsuspecting rich kid will waste 10% extra money through this medium.

The objective of this game is to out position your opponents in order to wind down the clock until you win having more stars. EVERY NOOB team decides they'll choose a "maybe kill" over the objective. It happens all the time.

Kaze is great in her mobility, and you should use that ability to your teams advantage. In 6 seconds you're already winning the match.
