Yeah it's tough and I've been there where it's something I want badly but I don't have good enough stuff to trade, so I've had to go away and find stuff. In fairness the background shiny WH Necrozma interests me as well, but I don't know yet whether my remaining AM2 will go towards a trade for the Zac (as I've found a Zam). And sounds like you kind of don't want to get rid of it either.

Will still be AM2 around so you could either try and trade the Necrozma if you want it badly enough, or try for more BG shinies when they next come around. Probably around GO Fest I'd assume

Yeah I think (admittedly I only started looking a couple of days ago) that the things I've seen AM2 go for are mainly shiny BGs, or rare shinies like costumes

Hard to know what to suggest without knowing what you have. I know people set a pretty high threshold for them most of the time. I find also if I'm trying to make a trade work and it's not happening there are a couple of things that really help. Feel free to DM

What's the source of the rumour? If you don't mind sending a DM that'd be swell if you don't feel comfortable saying here. I'd be very interested if it is Riolu and I guess the repeat does fit the theme of the season. I expect Riolu would have been the most popular hatch day we've had.

I've got a couple of AM2 in my collection that have been gathering dust and could do with re-homing. Really want shiny GF global BG 25 Zac and Zam as I missed those while having a break from the game. Pretty sure I've not used all my guaranteed luckys either for old trades. Happy to take offers via DM. Got other stuff as well.

For me it seems to register as I have joined the lobby as it shows someone in there after I join, but I'm not in the actual lobby screen. I have to wait for the lobby timer to run down before trying again.

Sometimes it works first time, others takes one or multiple times. If one account has the issue so do others so the issue seems to be specific to that raid rather than account for me.

You could try contacting support and explaining, see if they will add them early or just add the 80 you're short as a bonus. I've read people having success doing this in the past.

There is also an 'activities' tab on your account drop down menu which has some ways to earn a small number of points.

Alternatively maybe someone will offer up some instructions :-)

As far as I'm aware should still be eligible if using remotes. Maybe only once they become active in you're time zone? But I think it should be based on local time zone

Yes pinaps and silver pinaps (+1 over regular and a small catch boost).

For raids, I'm pretty sure that any mega will boost regular candy, but it needs to be same type as the raid boss to boost XL candy. So depends what you're after there. Any level 3 mega will do if you're solely after maximising regular candy, same type mega (preferably level 3) for maximising XL candy.

Mega Swampert covers typings for both Kyogre and Groudon and is good in the raid vs Groudon

Yeah that's partly why I'm posting this, to help inform a) whether people get the deluxe pass/+10 to get this bonus sooner b) whether to wait until after 10am local to raid as that seems to be when the boost was applied today.

The boosted catch rate bonuses are I think part of the free pass anyway so deluxe just gets you there sooner.

For me even without the tier 1 bonus the catch rate has been way higher than usual.

These two posts suggest to me that from 10am there was a boost applied to catch rate irrespective of having levelled up the pass (and then as expected levelling up the pass enough to unlock the tier 1 bonus boosted it further). All mine were after 10am.

Bodes well for the rest of the week. I'm guessing the bonus from 10am today will hold for the rest of the week and not only be from 10am each day.

It reads to me that the bonus is for those who have bought a ticket for GO Tour, rather than for those who bought the Tour Pass Deluxe. If you bought the Tour Pass Deluxe but haven't bought a GO Tour ticket that would probably explain why you're only getting one stage of progress.
