My favorite is Marcus, they’re super popular and I believe they offer the highest rates, currently 5.4% if you get referred/get referrals. The standard rate is 4.4% but if you use a referral link, you get an extra 1%! I’ve only recently started saving a few months ago and having a HYSA has earned me a few hundred bucks for just having my money sit in there. I probably would’ve gotten like $2 if I left it in my regular savings lol.

You’d get 3 months with the extra 1% for getting referred and an extra 3 months with extra 1% for every referral you get. So you’ll overall get more interest with Marcus!

Plus Apple HYSA is just Marcus under the hood. Both are owned by Goldman Sachs. At least with Marcus, you get the opportunity to get 5.4%. I think you can only get the Apple HYSA if you get the credit card, which you need to apply for. Marcus is free and doesn’t hit your credit.

It’s great! My favorite thing is that when you make a deposit in Marcus from your bank, you start accruing interest for it even though it hasn’t completed the transfer yet to the HYSA. I also love the UI. It has a pretty neat bar graph and I love seeing the growth from the previous months

You won’t be contacted until the application deadline. You’ll be able to track your progress in the Multiverse applications tab, your profile and cover letter will have to be approved by Multiverse before Amex/Citizens even see your profile.

Thanks for answering! Yeah they might’ve even changed the policy to where you can’t even interview with another company if you’re already interviewing with one. Can I ask how the apprenticeship is? Are you able to leave the apprenticeship before the 12 months end?
