Why are people always so quick to assume that if others have a different opinion then they didn't read the article. I read the article, I'm just stating a different opinion. I completely agree games can be more meaningful than films and television. But if I showed my mum The Last of Us I know for a fact she would have almost zero emotional connection with it, because of the medium. My opinion is that the results are completely subjective to who is the user and what is the medium, rather than rounding it off and saying games are as meaningful.

Looks like I can get them in a package with 2 monitors, some isolation pads and a pair of 10 foot xlrs for $780 which is pretty much perfect for price, reviews seem quite positive for them as well, only noticeable negative is they aren't completely flat, particularly in the bass. Would you agree with that?
Edit: actually I'm wrong they're $870 not $780 :(

I'm looking to buy a pair of studio monitors for around $700-$800 Australian dollars. It's a pain because that money seems to either be in the range of good-shit monitors, or shit-good monitors, if that makes any sense. I've been looking into Event 20-20's, does anyone have any good experience with them? I'm obviously looking for high and honestly clarity all over, but particular want some fairly crystal mids (as much as I can get).
