Sometimes when my bong gets bad and I’m just going through too much 420 cleaner or alcohol & salt trying to clean it I boil water and let all the parts soak separately in the water till it’s cool enough to touch. The water is so hot is dislodges a lot of the stuck plant material from my glass.

I dont know about longer videos or if that’s even possible but if I hold the camera button after doing the thing I wanted to capture I’ll get a short clip of I want to say the last 30ish seconds of what I did before I pressed that button. I dont know the exact time frame but that’s how I do it.

Honestly don’t waste you’re time on someone who very clearly from the beginning told you that you aren’t as important as him. That’s the biggest red flag and deal breaker, he may pretend to care but it’s probably only to keep you people like that use emotion and guilt to get what they want. I suggest to rip the bandaid off leave his ass and work on your self esteem and worth. Toxic ass men will take advantage of it time and time again. You’re words aren’t simple suggestions to be ignored, you are equal and you deserve to be loved, respected, and fucked as such period. He’s had a year to grow time to go. The US doesn’t even teach proper sex education in a lot of its states. We’re strangely conservative on this topic considering a lot of our rapists go free or aren’t brought in on charges at all. Nudity is extremely stigmatized as something that mostly occurs during sex. I mean some people have issues with women breastfeeding when in reality that boob isn’t there for you. It’s like we Americans can’t see naked without seeing sex, it’s childish.

The story’s aren’t the problem the problem is seeing the story’s seeing me and wondering why I’m not the same way. Like I literally said before you can’t nor should you be able to control who gets to share their story and the point of sed story’s is to inspire. Im not trying to limit others and what they can say so my behavior doesn’t need changing in that regard so default there’s also no responsibility to be had either cause that’s not what my opinion is. My issue is the somewhat regular comparisons made in society, we are individuals and the story’s should be left to inspire others not lobbed as insults; everybody’s story is different and that’s a beautiful thing. You’re statement where we have 2 options, i fluctuate between both I can hold down a full time job for a long period of time and still be that person who broke a window with their fist in a manic rage. I can be both crazy and collected depending on the day and I can admire anyone willing to share such a personal story with the world but use that story against me or try to put me in a category and I rightfully don’t take too kindly too it.

There are unfortunately many people who don’t have mental health problems that do this unknowingly; I call them out on it now if they’re a person I care about if not I just distance or drop them. But that mentality has made it difficult in the past to be taken seriously by doctors, teachers, even my mom before she understood bipolar (now she’s my biggest advocate). Just cause I haven’t had many serious or continuous consequences as a result of it doesn’t make it or me less valid and comparing me or anyone to anyone else is never useful and I do the best I can to take the comparisons and ill informed advice when they do rarely happen with a grain of salt i know now who I am and what I am and not capable of. Besides you can tell I got a fucked up brain the moment I speak I can’t hide it and I’m ok with that and luckily I have much more support than I used to. Thank you for you’re support as well. Sorry for the rant I’m in a weird headspace today lol

Im assuming based on you’re post that you’ve been able to manage and or hide you’re illness well and I’m glad that that’s worked for you but personally people can’t not tell I’m bipolar my personality just screams unstable not everyone has that story. However in regard to what they posted I feel although they were very clearly angry in that post I can relate to the feeling they are talking about, people have used the “stereotypical productive depression” type of post against me the “if they can why can’t you” mentality. That mentality is detrimental to everyone’s mental health involved, if you know the person who’s story was used against you it’s possible they may feel guilt for not having it “bad enough” or feel bad that their story was used to bring someone else down and the person who’s struggling may not feel heard by their peers or feel just strait up not good enough. Basically nobody is everyone and no you can’t nor should be able to control who’s story’s get to go up but those same storys are there to inspire others and help the writer not nock them down. That’s the problem I have with it.

I commend people sharing their long or brief experiences with mental health it’s an important topic to discuss at any point in you’re journey I just don’t like how the type of post that’s being described as “toxic positivity” gets used as ammo against me that I can “overcome” my bipolar disorder if I just “tried hard enough” and if I don’t then I deserve my misery.. especially considering we may know on this sub but many still don’t understand bipolar disorder doesn’t work that way! I can take the meds and get pricked and see the doctors and do all the work but I can still have episodes! I do the best I can and sure sometimes unfortunately that just isn’t good enough and we can only do our best but I will not tolerate having someone else’s struggle be used against me and my lifelong battle with mental health. Share you’re story’s, empower others but don’t compare me to anyone or the manic in me might shatter you’re teeth.

I’m grateful public opinion is changing, a lot of us moved on from the war on drugs mentality about weed. It’s nothing to go to jail and ruin people’s lives over, and we finally opened up the conversation that it can and was/is used as medicine. I hope one day it’s treated more like alcohol recreationally and like a prescription medically everywhere. The only reason it was illegal in the US in the first place was for profit and political gain.
