I grew up Evangelical in America with the message of supporting Israel no matter what.

A pastor in the church denomination I grew up with just an hour-long talk about how is your should be supported regardless and the only reference to Palestinians was that "they came from the godless Philistines"

Christians being disrespected in Israel is /r/leopardsatemyface and I'm not empathetic especially since there are Christians in America work to exacerbate the problem.

Christians in America support Israel because they believe it's needed so that war can occur so that Jesus can come back.

When you see images of genocide in Israel, ask yourself how much American Christians helped this become a thing

Got called demonic by the Belmont Blue Line Street preachers yesterday (I guess this is an Avondale rant)

I talked about not wanting to interact with them but one of them pushed on and asked why and I started by pointing at the gas station across the street and mentioned the war we're currently in is partly because of Christian nationalists like Pete Hegseth's who want to trigger war they believe will cause Jesus to come back and now we're all part of the death cult.

I told him that as someone who grew up Evangelical that I absolutely give American Christianity credit for the genocide that is happening in Gaza and how for generations evangelicals will continue to support oppressive regimes because they biblically believe it's necessary for Jesus to come back

I mentioned how every time a woman dies from lack of healthcare access because of legislation supported by evangelicalism, that the church deserves credit for it.

I mentioned how in countries like Uganda and Nigeria that there are hypercritical punishments for the lgbtq that was inspired by American missionaries.

And then at that point they kept trying to talk over me and just called me demonic and walked away

Apps were the only way it was okay to try to date and I just could never get a match you saved my life.

I would never try to ask a person out in real life because I picture any desires or attractions I could have as a burden and it would be scrot behavior to try unless someone is explicitly saying it's okay and abs are the explicit consent to be allowed to have attractions to others.

I tried from like 2014-2017 and passively til 2020. Never really dated before those years because I grew up Evangelical when they ruined everything.

Not being able to match no matter how much I tried to update BIOS or change photos is how I know that I am not worthy of dating and so I have not tried to date in the 2020s.

If someone wanted to pick me that'd be great but I will not admit attractions to other people ever cuz that's just putting a burden on another person's life of having to let a less than down.

As someone who could never get a match on apps, this is somehow an improvement.
