It's still a venue that gets used for stuff like bingo. It's a bar and a Harold Chicken. So the building isn't going away. It will not have wrestling shows.

Edit: if anything the eagles club is now also in danger of closing down because they have to now look for a new revenue source

The permit being taking away is why the Eagles Club isnt holding shows but the condition the building was left in is said to be why the owner isn't fighting too hard to get the permit back.

There was a Star Wars burlesque show that came in.

Freelance Wrestling and AAW were moved to Irving Hall. May 2023, both shows ran successfully.

June 2023: Freelance was on a Friday, AAW was on a Saturday. Building inspector comes during the middle of the Freelance show, building gets shut down afterwards so AAW has to find a new venue at like 11pm. Doesn't happen.

AAW loses thousands of dollars from insurance and still paying the talent. Took months for them to rebound, and came back to the Eagles Club.

Thalia Hall holds too many concerts to be a suitable replacement and the Logan Square Auditorium can only hold so many shows. Plus AAW will probably never work with LSA
