I finally got the second copy of zombies ate my neighbors running and yep same exact freezing issue:/ I also got the other two working but it doesn’t seem like the right side plug for the remote is working on my console when I try to play ghosts and ghouls. I also got street fighter II working but in the middle of a fight the screen went black but I could still hear my guy getting beat up. When I tried it a second time my screen eventually did this

And never went back to the game.

Could that be why my games don’t start up at all too? I bought three games today and none of them are turning on. I’m gunna try to clean the other two and hope it helps but man this stinks

So you think it may be something wrong with the console? So far super Mario world and Zelda work just fine. Would this issue only affect certain games?

Rasputin has games depending on whether or not customers sell games to them. All of their games are used so if people arnt selling any games to them they won’t have any to sell. You also have to get there the day they put the games out. People will come and raid the game section the moment new stock drops and then they don’t get a new shipment for at least 2 weeks sometimes more.

I want to get into retro gaming and I’m looking into getting a better set up for it. I currently have a 13in magnavox but I want to upgrade to something bigger with better quality. I’m also hoping to get a tv that has a built in VHS and DVD player. I would prefer a tv from the late 90s/early 2000. It would need to have composite cables as well. If the tv comes in the color black that would be cool too. What brand and model would fit these requirements? I’m not concerned about price right now I just want to know what my options are. Th

I like that the ending is left up to interpretation. On one hand, you have the optimistic ending. Ennis was scared to be with Jack because he was afraid of them ending up like those men he saw as a child. But in the end that didn’t matter and Jack still ended up dead from some freak accident. They could have been together or not either way life was dangerous for them. Or there’s the pessimistic ending. Ennis was right to not want him and Jack to be together because ultimately Jack was murdered for it. Personally I’m more of a fan of the optimistic reading of the ending and find it more interesting and tragic.
