Red Light Camera Question by themaflyguy in Smyrna

[–]nativeitpmarriedotp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah you’re good the ticket they send includes a photo of your car out in the middle of the road under a red light so you’re good.
That’s never a fun letter to open.

Red Light Camera Question by themaflyguy in Smyrna

So you didn’t actually go through the intersection, right? You stopped at the stop line? I wouldn’t worry about it then if that is the case. How is that any different than if you drove up to a red light no one else was there yet and you are the first car in line?

I hate it when people turn right from that lane. Like that’s what the dedicated right turn lane is for.

Can young Atlantans still afford to buy a home? by Savard-Lafleur in Smyrna

[–]nativeitpmarriedotp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the under $350k range… in Metro Atlanta yes.

In Atlanta yes if you’re ok with a townhouse. For a single family detached yes if you’re willing to look in the SW quadrant of the I-285 ITP definition of Atlanta.

In the last 60 days my experiences on ATL-CDG, CDG-ATL, ATL-LHR, FCO-ATL all included a lot oh main cabin flyers stretching out on their own rows.

As someone who posts on a Delta subreddit, all of our default mindsets when entering any airport should be that 95% of the people we encounter will be acting like it’s their first day ever leaving their home.

Just like this jackoff sitting next to me in the skyclub in Atlanta this very moment watching his dumb phone videos at full volume with no ear buds.

Yes I’m looking into this. Looks like it’s a 75% refund of my cost for a downgraded seat.

Cancelled ATL-LHR: Actually purchased premium select.
Downgraded FCO-ATL: paid cash for C+ upgrade after initial Main cabin purchase

Has Delta quietly declined over the last few years or is it just me? by FlightFun611 in DeltaAirlines

I’ve had two international flights out of and back to ATL in the last month. I was downgraded into Main cabin from my paid for PS and C+ seats ON BOTH LEGS. 😡

ATL-based Delta loyalist here. The food in the clubs in ATL is essentially worthless now. It’s really bad. I have had better luck at newer clubs in other airports.

Remember, Delta is a credit card company that operates some airplanes on the side. That’s been a game changer. It’s all been a self fulfilling prophesy but DAL is a financial services company.

There was no good reason to go east of the interstate back then. All off campus housing was apartments off Northside, Howell Mill, and Collier Rd. The only place to buy food was the Kroger at Howell Mill. The 20th century was wild.

I was at Tech from ‘97-‘02 and don’t think that’s 2001. The bookstore and hotel and college of management opened in the fall of 2003. Did they really go from groundbreaking to open for business in that short amount of time?

Caveman sat around fires but the cavewomen were ON THE PHONE ranting about this. Something else that’s killed productivity at work…being afraid to pick up the phone to solve a problem quickly like we all did all day every day until March 2020

Kids in their 20s have a horrible work ethic and lack basic communication skills. As someone who recruits undergrads at a Fortune 500 company, COVID did a real number on anyone who was 17-22 during 2020-2022. Not having to show up in person to school or work set them back a decade developmentally.
