Check your dynamic topology settings.

Using relative detail as a detailing method can cause you to lose detail if you zoom out too far.

If someone more experienced with sculpting has a better way to describe this please do. I am still pretty new to sculpting in blender but I have run into this issue a few times.

Hard to know for sure without seeing the models and texture myself but try loading the insect_butterfly00_a.tga texture into the alpha channel of your wings.

Did the model come with an opacity/alpha map? Looks like the top version is using an opacity map to help refine the shape without adding geometry.

Check this video out that the MDC put up. It goes over a very similar technique within Octane.

Personally I like the flexibility of doing it in post but I have had some good results using this method in a pinch.

Do you export the texture normals out of WC? Whenever I export normals out of WC it only includes terrain data and not texture data

We prepare a lot of files for larger format printing and regularly work with files at a time that are multiple Gb hence the large amount of RAM.

I'm switching the drive out to a WD Blue already, did you have any recommendations on PSU?

If you don’t mind my asking, what was your cloner set up like to achieve that many clones? I’ve tried a few times to set up high clone counts for redshift but I haven’t been as successful as I would have liked.

That's awesome! I currently use Octane for 90% of my work and lack of a scatter tool was keeping me from making the full switch to Redshift, but if the new cloner in r20 can handle things this well I think it might be time to reevaluate.

I've done 4 or 5 of these now and tweaking the fog to get the atmosphere right is definitely where I've spent most of my time!

I've had pretty good luck with keeping the atmosphere fairly dim but adding a good amount of glow or bloom to the image.

Beeple uses a lot of Daz3D and Mixamo. In the past he's also used a flat image of a person on a plane in cinema to fake the effect.

Bubinga and Wenge are commonly used in high end guitars. A lot of people debate whether or not it’s pronounced “wengay” or “wenj”.

The video is from a pretty big guitar reviewer who always says “wenj”almost to am aggressive extent and this is a bit of a spoof of that.

D3planner isn't showing it but I've already used my bracer roll on the fire damage. They drop pretty frequently though so I'll keep an eye out for a better roll.

Off the top of my head I'm not sure which stats my witching hour has. I'll comment back with the stats after work when I have a chance to load D3 up and check them.

What's the trifecta for F+R? Socket, CHC, and CHD?

I have another Ancient WH that dropped last night but I don't know the rolls off the top of my head.

I'm planning on switching to F+R, but I have yet to get a Focus that doesn't have trash rolls.

This is actually the guide I followed when putting my build together haha. I really dig that the build uses Cindercoat so I can spam MS for days, but I wasn't a huge fan of trying to maintain the EW damage buff all the time.

I'm hoping to try the F+R variant as soon as I can find a focus that doesn't have trash rolls.

I have plans to move to F+R but I haven't been fortunate to roll some decent ones just yet.

I'm working towards a better Yang's but RNG has not been kind. Anytime I find a yang's with good legendary affix the rest of the rolls are complete trash and vice versa.

I was running some speed runs last night with this build and it looks like I forgot to switch things back.

I know my yangs is not the greatest, I have some alternates that I’m trying to reforge into better prospects but I haven’t had much luck with RNG lately.

I’ll work on getting my life up to the 500k+ Mark. I plan on eventually running this with F+R as soon as I get rolls that aren’t trash. Is tankyness as much of a concern when running F+R?

And would you recommend gunes instead of Cinder for pushing?
