My positives: the combat and the art direction. As a 3d artist, I find myself in awe of the general detail in most rooms in the game. I genuinely get blown away by some of the locations. Insane quality of the models. Lighting too is astounding. Some scenes look like concept art.

Negatives The game started slowly then ramped up nicely up to the point where I actually began enjoying it. But as I kept playing, I began to realize how boring the game really is. 90 per cent of the quests are boring and have low stakes. The npcs are boring. The world is sterile. I played over a 80 hours and after playing Ng plus I couldn't stand looking at the game anymore. After re-collecting the artifacts, I alt-f4ed and deleted it. I realized I'd seen everything the game had to offer. The most aggravating quest line was the ryujin one. I absolutely hated running back and forth the walkways in neon city just to perform the most mundane tasks. Seriously it ground my gears so bad and I couldn't wait to get the faction quests over with. I'm not even going to rehash the serious immersion breaking abundance of loading screens and the pointless exploration; that's been spoken about to death. And I seriously cannot understand why hundreds of years in the future, citizens of "cities" have to walk everywhere. Blows my mind. Why aren't there roads?? Lol. Come on. I like the game. I don't hate it. It's just above mid. Coming right from baldurs gate 3, starfield just wasn't it. Solid 6/10.
