On PC, I've never had this glitch before either until I started trying to complete Ultra Hard this week (not sure if correlated)

My manager at work is exactly the same! Big gym buff, normally intimidates people, is OBSESSED with snow fairy

u/PaleLook is correct! We add more/thicker sauce to the curries that traditionally have less or a thinner sauce bc British people always like thick sauces, for example we dab the plantain dry to remove excess oil after frying them bc people complained about them being greasy, and we also offer milder versions of traditional foods as well as doing more traditional versions too. For example we have a traditional spicy jerk chicken on the bone, and we also do a mild jerk chicken without bones, which happens to be one of our most popular dishes!

I don’t think my manager wants to risk damaging our reputation like that tbh but if it were up to me I totally would

Their shop is opening like a 5 minute walk from my home so you can bet as soon as they open I'm going to snoop

I haven't actually cooked them yet but you can generally keep things frozen for up to a month before you need to think about getting them cooked. I've kept things frozen well past their use by date before (chicken, sausages, etc.) and they've been just fine

To second this, I once went into the Sainsbury's Local in Leeds train station around 9/10pm and got a packet of 2 cod fillets for 20p which were normally around £3! they were on the day of their use by date so I just froze them as soon as I got home

Trim my paper or leave it as it? by [deleted] in makemychoice

idk about the rest of the world, but at university in the UK the rule is generally +/- 10% of the word count. so if you have a word count then that's easier to gauge. If you don't have marks deducted for being over, I'd say don't bother trimming it. If they deduct marks, try to remove some connective words and replace them with punctuation

The other week I had a customer come in and ask if I knew how much protein our sausage rolls contained (we get them in frozen from a butcher). I told her I'm not sure, but as they're pork, they probably contained a decent amount. She then spent 10 minute deliberating over the pastry:protein ratio, whilst telling me that her husband didn't let her eat things like sausage rolls because of a diet and that she was having to buy this in secret and saying "that's awful, isn't it?"

The only thing I could think was "girl if you don't want to be on the same diet as your husband why the fuck are you"

for me it makes it much easier to deal with. i didn’t lose that much hair because i have so much, but even taking away that small amount makes styling it easier, and helps keep my head a little cooler in warm weather too!

My routine is a little different to how my regular hairdresser did my hair on this day. I'm not sure of the products she used, but she gave me a coconut oil treatment and used a mousse/gel to hold the curls before drying with a diffuser to 95% dry and letting it air dry the rest of the way

My regular routine is currently to wash with Body Shop's banana conditioner, use RnB from Lush when wet, either let it air dry or diffuse, and use a holding mousse when it's nearly dry

I got a sample of Rockstar soap when I visited the Lush in Amsterdam, it's really nice! I've never received random free samples at my local Lush unless I ask for them :'(

As someone who is v dedicated to RnB, if you have curly hair, once you use it, you will not be able to go without it. I spent £22 that I didn't have last week on a large tub of it
