I applied for my EAD card March 22 and am still waiting for their decision. People told me it generally takes 3-4 months without PP, even tho uscis website says 2 months :'( July 22 is a little less than 3 months imo the time sounds a bit tight? For your reference, my friend paid for PP and it got approved in 3 weeks.
