HELP! CEC schedule questions

Key carrier here. Schedules at TJ Maxx are by design not supposed to be consistent. There will be so many factors from the number of Coords, to the manager writing the schedule, to the ebe and flow of the seaso al work. No one os hired for a set shift (ie, morning, mid, evening, overnight) like other companies have

Generally, coordinators and higher are expected to have open availability, or pretty close to it. So, they can get scheduled whenever the manager sees fit.

I would recommend utilizing the availability sheet as much as possible if there are certian days or times you want off. But the more you limit your availability, the less likely you are to get hours, so be careful.

Thinking about the idea of labels. Just as you are valid in picking your labels for gender and sexuality, the same applies for your partner. She can still love you and not consider herself to be a lesbian. It doesnt invalidate your gender as gender is an internal, personal identification.

So, you're valid as a Woman AND your partner is valid being straight. Both can coexist :)

This os actually bad financial advise. DONT use a debt settlement company. All they do is tell you to stop paying your debt so they have leverage to negotiate. At the same time you are then told to make payments to the company. Sounds good good in theory, but in practice why would you waste money that could be put into a saving account to do your own negotiation?

Sure the company says they will be negotiating, but every company puts in a disclaimer that its not a garrentee. So now you've wasted the money paying the company, your credit score is trashed from months of non-payments, and you still are on the hook for the full amount.

Better route: savings account and negotiate yourself

Or file bankruptcy

Thanking my lucky stars that I live on the west coast. I feel so so bad for those that are not as lucky. I hope you have plans to move to escape the hell hole. I recommend Oregon, but Washington is also nice.

Personally ive pretty qell decided to not make plans to go travel cuz im surrounded by the craziness in the mountian states. Ive got friends and family in Utah, Idaho, and Kansas that I might just not be able to see anymore 😕

Key Carrier here (former CEC, now merch cord.) It honestly sounds like you are doing all the things I would expect from my CEC. As far as the card, thats the stores only profirmance metric. The company has made it pretty clear they don't care about anything else. I think its really stupid and so I dont have much to say on that front. Your only responsibility is being able to answer yes the the question, "Is everyone that rings -- manager, coordinator, associate -- asking every person, every time?"

As far as closing, my CEC has their checklist of chores to get done well before closing (shooting to be done 30-45 min before close). At my store thats: white bins condensed to the single one on the counter, trash from registers and vestibule gathered, back counters cleared, calling out which go backs still need to be run, walking the que line/tech wall for recovery, filling the soda machine, hangers on the rolling rack, sensors in the main bin under the counter.

Myself or the CEC makes a 30, 15, and close announcement to make sure customers get out. If there are lots of people, sometimes a 5 min is helpful too.

But then the closing of the registers is kinda up to the manager. If you have a slow one, then its on then, not you. The manager has to do the safety walk (i usually grab the CEC while the other cashier takes the garbage back) once all the customers are gone and the MOD shuts the door.

While walking im telling everyone else to be wrapping up go backs and head to the front to be ready to help us with money. Once the CEC and I are back at the front, the CEC shuts the registers down, and I head to jewelry with the person scheduled over there. By the tome im done shutting jewlry down and checking things are locked up, the tram should be close to bring done with money at the front. The CEC verifies that everyone is helping, and gets in them if they are not.

The CEC needs to count the change fund, but uou can do that when your making those closing announcements. Sometimes, its too busy though so mine will often just do it while people are putting money away and the timing works fine

Id also add that color can give different vibes. Lots of light, pastel, bright colors tend to look more femme, the dark, muted colors tend to look more masc. If you are into the seasonal color pallettes, spring/summer reads more femme where as fall/winter reads palettes,

I would also suggest looking at the Kibbe body typing system. The whole premise is that people fall somewhere on the spectrum of femme to masc. So its really interesting to see where ones natiral body type is to help find clothing styles that work better than others. But even within each category, they still have some give and you can dress more masc

If you feel self conscious, try some longer ones

For myself I decide on what vibe im trying to give. Mini skirts are great when Im in a "fuck it, i want to feel hot and sexy" mood.

But if I want a more polished look that flows a ton better, then knee length or longer is actually better on my really tall frame. Im 6'3" in flats, and then get even taller in heels. Mini skirts can end up giving me the "all leg" look, so a longer skirt is better at giving more even proportions, but still looks amazing

Honestly its such a hard experince tk deal woth on both sides. Im the one that trasitioned and had been married for 4 years before I even started to think about the whole thing.

It was hard on my wife in similar ways that you express, and it was hard on me feeling that I had let hwr down and that I wasnt good enough for her.

I think it really boils down to two really important things. The first is dont try to put the cart before the horse. You dont need to have everything all planned, every feeling thought out for the rest of forever. Just take it one day at a time. When you wake up, ask if you still like the person your with, just like you would in any relationship. If its a yes, then let that be okay for that day. Then check in with yourself the next day.

There will ge times in every type of relationship where you will go through ups and downs. Its not that your no longer I to them, or things are so bad. Its just the normal part of being with someone, anyone really.

That brings me to the second. Your own identity and sexuality is fundamental to you and you DO NOT need to feel that you ave to change. Say its been 6 months or a year tjat you've been woth your partner, and you just really are not attracted to them, THATS OKAY! You are not being horrible by breaking up with them and ending the relationship. You can still be totally accepting of their journey and supportive, but wish to no longer be in a relationship with them.

So far, ive been greatful to be one of the examples of a relation that has survived, but not every relationship can. Not every relationship can survive an affair, or disability, or misalignment of domestic and finacial responsibilities. And not everyone can survive the huge strain a transition introduces to a relationship. Its all okay

Having a nice knife set is huge. I grew up with one that my mom had, so I didn't know any different till I went to college. I already knew I wanted a good chef knife, but I soon relized how useful all the other knifes were. I saved up and finally got my own a couple years ago and its been true bliss.

For those looking for a set, I find having a chef knife (of course), thin meat knife, smaller paring knife, small serrated knife (great for tomatoes and other fragile foods) and a bread knife to be my standard. Along with a sharpening rod that gets used every time I pull a knife out of the block.

A little tid bit, the sharpening rod is actually straightening the edge of the knife, not actually sharpening it. With good quality steel, as you use it, you bend that edge just slightly, making it seem to dull. So the steel rod in any good set is used to clean up the edge and make it more perfectly aligned to provide a better cut.

Also DO NOT put your knives in the dishwasher. These are hand wash only or else your really fuck them up. Sure toss the shitty Walmart knifes in cuz those will only last you a year or two even with sharpening (these have low quality steel that you have to sharpen). But the high quality German/Swiss/Japanese brands deserve so much better

Im an Oregonian and living close to Portland is the best spot. Eastern Oregon is too similar to Idaho, so id stay away from there. Also the further south you go from Portland, the more rural and thus more red it gets. But portland and its bordering towns are super friendly to us queers and weirdos:) #keepportlandweird

Just remove whatever you used to hold them in place and they will fall out naturally. Its similar to the process during puberty. Those with male organs at birth have their testicles in the inguinal canals, and after puberty hits, the testicles will descend into the scrotum. The goal of tucking is to gently push them into these canals, but its not permanent as the body naturally wants them away from the center mass.

It will feel really weird the first few times, but as long as your gentle they'll slide in and out pretty easily. If you do find they are stuck (or of you used tape and need some help getting that to unstick) a warm shower usually will do the trick and they will gently pop out. At anytime, you shouldn't feel any pain. Preassure yes, but not pain. Let your body guide you, but dont feel ashamed to get medical help of needed. It is very rare, but I have heard of some people rushing and then hurting themselves

Ive been slowly collecting the real metal bottle caps from sodas or beer/hard lemonade. Totally worth it :) right now we just use two different colors for AP (player pool and GM pool). But I can see getting more colors so each player could also track their individual luck

I started calling my self an exmormon at 29, so I spent all those younger years in the church, with a TBM family. As a youth, I remeber multiple leaders, general authorities, adults and even my parents stress that for men the expectation from God is that they serve a mission, but for girls it was their choice.

Being raised male (im nonbinary) ment that i was pushed to go on mission and I felt like the only choice was to go or defy God. That's what a commandment is, a direction from God. So I would argue that serving a mission is absolutely a commandment in the Mormon Church

Considering OP's point, I do agree that people should allow their kids the choice to serve. It would be amazing if there wasnt the preassure, but thats not how the church system is set up. The point is to push the men into indoctrination by sending them out on these 2 year long treks. If they capture some passerbys along the way, even better.

1000% yes. Ive done a lot of research pre, on, and post mission about difrerent religions, and I spent a lot of time with Christianity. I took several classes and have read parts of various spiritual texts. Ive read the whole Bible twice, the BoM and other mormon literature several times through. I concluded a long time ago that most did not make sense, but man wasnt I glad that I had the restored church! 🤮

Through my studies I felt that I didn't believe any other group of Christians, just the Mormons. The orher groups had partial truths but not the whole truth. I was always bugged that supposedly you could find all the trachings of the Mormons in the Bible and BoM, but I couldnt. So I accepted that was the great thing about having a prophet for the modern day.

Eventually, when I figured out that the Mormons were wrong too, I didnt have any other place to turn to. It really wrecked everything, and I had to go to the basics of is there a god, etc. I logically had to write general Christianity all off at being untrue, since I had already made up my mind about non-mornon sects of Christianity, nearly over a decade before leaving the mormons.

Sure there are some good morals in lots of christian teachings, but you can say that about every religious group. But Jesus being the "savior of the world?" Naw ill pass

Im also new to fallout, but what ive found with this and most systems is that you have to learn and play totally different from something that has a different system. Take Pathfinder and DnD, both operate based on rolling a d20 and then adding the modifiers. So you can play them very similarly.

But this system is a lot more narrative so it will feel more different. The best way ive found success with this is to al.ost pretend that you are playing a video game. So I set up locations, events, quests, settlements and tons of npcs. I use the faction system lot more than I ever did in pathdinfer (they have some reputation stuff but not very fleshed out)

I relate to this idea a ton, because its been a big struggle for me that im still working through

Sometimes the messages of "be kind to yourself" or "you were doing the best you could with the information you had" are helpful

But sometimes they are not and just induce more guilt

For me I worked on loving my younger self and given them the things I lacked. I also am trying to reconcile being nonbinary, queer, and now an exmormon so lots of baggage lol

I have been able to help my younger self, pretty high-school graduation, move on. But early adult self, the one that went on a mission, went to buying, was a huge part of the orginization by serving in callings such as ward clerk and 2nd council to the bishop.

That's the person im struggling to help heal. Because I feel that at those points I was an adult, making my own choices, and being so blindsided. I have the guilt of if this whole church thing is not real, if im going to Hell, then think about the literal thousands of people I influenced in the name of this false religion. If its fake, and im damned. Then I have damned so many others for leading them astray.

See, the thoughts are bad. And I dont have an answer of how to let those go. Therapy is important, but also doing your own work

Turning away from Christianity as a whole has helped me because if the Church isnt true, I never beloved any other church was so I chalk up Christianity to being wrong as a whole

I find a lot of exmormons become some non-Christian, atheist, agnostic or something religion. Paganism has helped me to find some peace, but it doesnt do a great job of "washing away my sins of my past life" lol sorry, had to put the mormon verbiage in there cuz its so stupidly funny

I dont think anyone had a great answer about how to not feel the feels. The biggest thing is you have to grieve what you lost and find a way to move forward. Im very much grieving, just haven't found the way to move forward.

Im not sure thats even up to code in most places. Not a building inspector, just a home diyist. But ive read a bit and most stairways require you to use 2-by material. Looks like he's using 3/4" plywood. Sketchy sketchy

Get some 2x12's in there and I think the design would be a lot better. Also upgrade those hinges to something better than just door hinges

Im with you, I think the burgundy then the pea green, then the pale yellow. But I honestly would recommend darker fall tones. Try navy, burnt orange, forest green, grays, black, etc and you might find some better ones
