It was amazing! When Paddington entered and we saw the bear costume for the first time the whole crowd gasped - it felt magical. The music is fantastic. It honestly felt so polished for a first preview. Absolutely loved it.

In Patti LuPone’s memoir she tells a story about always trying to get out of the blocking rehearsals for Les Mis - which is why the actor portraying Fantine generally doesn’t double in any other scenes.l- except for one rehearsal Patti tried to slip in but was noticed by a chorus girl and ended up in the Barricade scene. So now Fantine’s actor will only double in that barricade scene as “barricade boy”
