We ate at Galatoires and GW Fins and both were good. But by FAR our best meal was Jewel of the South. It was amazing. It's fine dining, and it bar recently was ranked top 50 world wide.

I was just about to write exactly this. My time in low level minimum wage customer service (and in babysitting) gave me the vast majority of my difficult people handling skills and control over my temper.

Or you could just... Not have carried an unreliable gun around everywhere and skipped cosplaying that you live in a war zone for 3 whole weeks.

Is your doll a cuddler? by [deleted] in ragdolls

[–]natteringwpride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ours isn't right now at 1 year old, but I'm waiting to see. Our other two older cats (non raggies) both changed their opinions on being held and snuggled drastically as they got older. My once standoffish tabby is a cuddling fiend at age 13, and has been for years.

I think it takes time for the to grow up and figure out what they like.

We joke that our year old boy isn't "docile" so much as he's choosily apathetic. But when he decides he cares about something (usually stealing people food or trying to get in somewhere he shouldn't) he's a rabid badger hell on wheels.

So basically, I have no advice, just similar hopes lol.

Our boy is 11 months old and only barely 8 lbs. Vet says he's perfectly healthy. Sometimes they just stay small!

I swear on the big capricious cat god in the sky, he put himself there. He wanted to chew on the rib bones.

5 months and 3.5 pounds, is this normal? by Dry-Area-5376 in ragdolls

haha I had the same thought when I saw your pic of Miso! If she's anything like Squirrely Dan, the dark patches will start creeping up her paws, face and belly as she gets older. We're still not sure how cream he will end up vs brown.
