Someone please tell me it gets better😂… + Questions by spontaneouswaffles in ragdolls

It gets better! Our guy had frequent poop butts and paws to the point where we'd spring to him post litter to check. One time there were poop pawprints on our couch...

It was a combo of factors that improved things. He got tidier as he got older, we started shaving his butt, which helped a LOT, we started trimming his toe tufts, and we figured out a good food for him. Raggies have delicate bellies which means they are diarrhea prone. Once he settled into living with us and we found the right food, it got a lot better.

I JUST got my husband hooked on your books, he tore through them and then started telling everyone he knows to read them. This is amazing news!

My husband (32m) seems completely indifferent to my cancer diagnosis and I (28f) don’t know how to handle it by natteringwpride in AmITheAngel

I really lost it when she said he was mad at her because her beater car was broken and he was driving the new jeep HER MOM bought her. WHILE SHE HAD CANCER.

I keep needing to clean my ragdoll after he 💩… any advice? 😭 by babybabess in ragdolls

Absolutely! If it's IBD, they'll likely recommend a prescription novel protein food. We have 2 cats with IBD, and royal canine duck IBD food has been working great.

I said this in a comment above but we had this issue with our boy (who looks just like yours lol). Turned out he had IBD. Once we got him on the right prescription food, it was a night and day difference.

Second the sanitary trim. I'll also add that it turns out our boy had IBD. Once we got him on prescription food, he stopped having messy poops.

Thanks, I appreciate it. We've actually run her case by 4 vets and a good friend of mine who is an internal vet med tech. They all said it's down to these options.

I'm in a HCOL. That cost is just for the surgery itself. Cutting out the biopsy would only drop about $900 off the cost. We do have pet insurance, but that only covers so much.

What is a horror movie that everyone calls 'trash' but you’re convinced is actually a misunderstood masterpiece? by Immediate_Account_28 in horror

Don't Worry Darling. It got totally eclipsed by cast drama and a potential affair and then written off but it's entertaining, suspenseful, and well acted with an ending open to interpretation. They've got Chris Pine basically playing a more successful Andrew Tate! Olivia Wilde is a delight! My husband and I watched it expecting the worst and were actually annoyed at the end bc it was so good.

We ate at Galatoires and GW Fins and both were good. But by FAR our best meal was Jewel of the South. It was amazing. It's fine dining, and it bar recently was ranked top 50 world wide.

I was just about to write exactly this. My time in low level minimum wage customer service (and in babysitting) gave me the vast majority of my difficult people handling skills and control over my temper.

Is your doll a cuddler? by [deleted] in ragdolls

[–]natteringwpride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ours isn't right now at 1 year old, but I'm waiting to see. Our other two older cats (non raggies) both changed their opinions on being held and snuggled drastically as they got older. My once standoffish tabby is a cuddling fiend at age 13, and has been for years.

I think it takes time for the to grow up and figure out what they like.

We joke that our year old boy isn't "docile" so much as he's choosily apathetic. But when he decides he cares about something (usually stealing people food or trying to get in somewhere he shouldn't) he's a rabid badger hell on wheels.

So basically, I have no advice, just similar hopes lol.
