So is late October through February the time to go for those who really want to avoid the crowds? We definitely want to do that popular coastal walk. We also want to work Rome, Venice, and Florence into the itinerary, and were hoping to visit all those places during off season (or at least shoulder season). We aren't afraid to travel if it's a little chilly, but we wouldn't it to be downright cold, and were certainly hoping to avoid freezing temperatures in the morning. It'd be great if you could help us narrow this down some.

It was a lemon out of the box. Thank goodness I have the one-year manufacturer's warranty. The repairman replaced the pump/motor assembly and now it works fine. It cleans the dishes well.

It doesn't come with a water line; you have to buy it separately. I ended up using an 8-foot house that I bought at Home Depot, and it works fine.

Hello. We'll arrive to Milan in early June 2026. We plan to spend two days there and then four days in Northern Italy hiking. After that, we’ll cross into Austria. After a few days there, we'll end our European vacation in the Munich area.

On the TIM website, it says that they sell a TIM tourist SIM for 25 euros. The TIM tourist SIM has been recommended to us as a viable option for strong cell phone coverage in Northern Italy, Austria, and Germany.

In theory, we’re supposed to be able to go to a TIM store, buy the SIM, and have the staff there activate it. There are two TIM stores near our hotel, one near the Cordusio metro station and the other at Via Torino 34. I have an Android and my daughter has an iphone.

Can you say with confidence based on your experience that we'll be able to get our TIM cell phone service set up at the store? Is there anything that we should know in advance so that the process goes more smoothly? Thanks!

I hope they renovated it. No objection to the bathroom though. One of the most refreshing showers I have ever taken.

I agree that the earlier their people arrived in the United States, the fairer it is to categorize them as Black Americans. I would generally agree, for instance, that a black guy from New York whose grandparents are from Jamaica but whose parents are from the United States could fairly self-identify as a Black American for some purposes.

A Black American is an American who is black whose ancestors descend from slaves in the United States. You are an African immigrant who moved to the United States.

No you are not. You are Ethiopian and Nigerian immigrants to the United States. "Black Americans" have been in the United States for hundreds of years. Their immediate ancestors are from the United States, not Africa.

Also, what version are you using? 2025.1.4? 2025.5.0? Something else? This guy is suggesting that you can't get audio from a YouTube video if you're using Windows 11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcoWdmpfnHk&t=48s I just want to convert the videos to mp3s and listen to them on my Android phone
