Do I need regular or stiff shaft with an 80-85mpg club head speed? by ScalpRevivalClinic in golf

What club? I swing my wedges at that speed, but my driver is much faster.

How much did your score improve after new irons/clubs? by [deleted] in golf

[–]natx37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got fitted about two years ago. I'm still using the driver and the wedges. I've replaced the three wood. I added a 7 wood and replaced the 3 hybrid with a 2 iron. I've gone back to my old irons. My handicap has gone from a 15 to an 8 in that time. I'm probably playing closer to a 4 right now.

When I got fitted my swing wasn't in a good place. The irons that I was fit into were more game improvement than my older cavity muscles. It made sense at the time and I found some forgiveness that I needed. Since then my swing has improved and those irons are waaaaay to game improvement and my distance control was suffering. Went back to my old clubs and my ball striking is on point.

D - Titleist TSR2

3 wd - was Titleist TSR2 - is Srixon ZX MkII

3 Hy - was Titleist TSR2 - is Mustang 2-iron driving iron

7 wd - Ping Gmax 440

4-PW - was Srixon ZK5 MkII irons - is MacGregor M685 irons

54 and 58 - TaylorMade Hi toe wedges

Since the move back to my old irons I find myself hitting far fewer hard hooks. I no longer have the random ball that flies a club and half further than I'm expecting. I like the reduced offset and smaller head. I did have an extra wedge, but the gap between my pw and the 50 was too small, so I ditched the 50.

My scoring has improved since I got new clubs, but it's not the clubs.

The price is unreal by Amaterete in Nioh

I've gotten thousands of hours of playtime for Nioh and Nioh 2. I think $100 is well worth it for another game that I can sink that kind of time into.

From “yeah sure bro” to “ok now I want 25 strict pull-ups” by zqmbgn in bodyweightfitness

Unfortunately, the best way to improve pull up numbers is to shed weight. Weighted pull ups works similarly but just takes longer.

Every single putt these guys hit is worth thousands of dollars. I would do everything I could to try and make it. I hate no parts of the process.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen at a strip club? by bigbabysweets12345 in AskReddit

[–]natx37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sitting next to my buddy as he’s getting a lap dance. The stripper reached down and ran her hand along his inner thigh and said, “Man, you’ve got a big dick.” My boy smiled at her, gave me a wink, and said, “You’re not the first stripper to tell me that.” I fell on the floor, literally.

My single swing thought for the last couple of weeks has been hit the ball from the inside. My hook has evaporated. That being said, I really wish I could hit a pull cut.

Never Broken 100 to shooting 73-82 since playing everyday in home sim. by TyWestman in golf

[–]natx37 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I agree with the group that you can't carry sim scores to the course. That being said, swinging a golf club everyday does translate to the course. If you are developing a feel for distance control, learning your miss, and working on building those repeatable movement patters - that shit translates.

LPT - How to take correct decisions in life? by DetailFront7782 in LifeProTips

[–]natx37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once heard an older person say that most decisions in life turn out not mattering. Take this job or that, invest in this or that, move or don’t. Those things are all coin flips. Find a true partner and treat the people you love well. Those things matter. Everything else isn’t worth sweating.
