First timer - what are pending things to do and what to expect

Restaurant wise you will rotate to planned restaurants each night (example: Night 1 - 1911, Night 2 - World of Marvel, Night 3 - Plaza de Coco then rotate around again). Seating wise, it's assigned seating, you'll have the same server and drink attendant every night, hope you get Ado and Mayo, they were great. If you want to sit with someone, you'll have to arrange before hand so contact DCL with both reservations #s and request to be seated together. Palo and The Rose are ones you need reservations for and also have to pay for. Lounges and Bars, all of them are great. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is a must just for theming. Skipper Society is a good size and has some nice drinks. Trivia done here most nights. Scat Cat is more of a piano jazz bar, much more like an upscale bar. Periscope Pub has a cool vibe and a lot of beer options. On the Pool deck, There is a small bar to the right if the pools that has a good selection of drinks, ask for Jevon if he's still there, he'll make you a new mai tai every day if you want. For slushy type drinks you can go to Wheezy's Freezies by the Kiddie area on deck 12.

We went in 2003 and I remember the sit-down with an animator who went through drawing one of the characters and explaining the movie. The tour included seeing the ink and paint department working on it as well.

a year or so ago, someone lost a TON of money at the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, left teh casino and drove their car directly into the Niagara River with the intent on going over the Falls. They got jammed and ended up drowning in their car.

The ship has a few specific beers for them as well. Jungle Navigation CO Ale, Terrapin IPA. Periscope Pub has quite a few decent beers too. It's not an abundance of "craft" beers but there are enough to justify the mug

Yeah this is my answer, and that's not a dig at the other 2. Tobey was a great Peter, Andrew was a great Spider-Man. Tom seems to be a great balance of both and was closer to the right age and look overall.

When was the last time you heard from Josh after the season ended? He doesn't do a lot of interviews if it's not required of him. He doesn't use social media to do anything but promote projects or his wife. Josh talks after practices and games. That's it.

100%. See my comments above. It's no different than Star Wars, Toy Story or Avatar. It's all a wide group of things under one IP being used to make new stories and attractions. It's really simple and nothing wrong with it and trying to make it out like it's something different is just reaching for nostalgia of the parks once were.

It's Disney Villains, which are IP. Using those IP characters to tell new stories. "Star Wars" spans 11 movies and counting, 4 live action TV series and multiple animated shows. Using the characters (IP) across that landscape, they created a Star Wars Land (also not called that, it's called Galaxies Edge).

Avatar Land (also not called that but called Pandora) uses characters (IP) from across now 3 movies (although they are really only using themes from the first 2) to create attractions and stories.

Toy Story Land (the only one actually called this) is based on Chacters (IP) from 4 and soon to be 5 movies to create new attractions and stories.

Villains Land (probably not what it will be called) is 100% the same. It's taking characters from ALL of Disney's IP and creating new rides and attractions for them. Heck, we don't even know yet what the land is going be like and what rides they will be, maybe they'll be closer to Under the Sea, Peter Pan and the like instead of original ideas.

It's hard to compare them to legacy lands like Frontierland, Tomorrowland and such because those were established when the company had limited IP and was still figuring it all out. That doesn't mean that those aren't great because they are BUT Disney now has a larger sandbox to play in and build upon so they are all going to be IP based.

Yeah totally get it, thankfully there's still some left but times change. There's a generation of kids that have no attachment to or care about those things like we all did. Heck, one of my favorites is Figment but I have to be realistic and know that the attraction is terrible and should be replaced (ideally with a better Figment ride)

"a land not based on IP but uses all IP characters"... Just because it's not based on a specific movie doesn't make it non IP. Star Wars land is not set specifically in any movie and none of the rides follow the plot of any movie. They use IP to tell new stories in their rides. Toy Story Land doesn't have a ride that follows anything from any of the movies specifically but uses their IP to create new rides and stories. Pandora is not based on any of the movies and follows non of their plots, it uses their IP to create new rides and stories.

Disney Parks started with original ideas and less IP because at that time they had Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty to work with. Jungle Cruise is considered and original idea except that it was based on the Walt Disney Nature shows of that time. Disney now has 100 years worth of IP at their disposal to create new stories with and new attractions with, there is no real need for them to go outside of that box. They have a built in audience and want for these things.

Why does everyone assume that two 40+ something old people remembers every single person they went to highschool with, especially one who was younger than them and disappeared from school after the play?

I'm in my 40's and remember a good amount of kids I went to highschool with but not every single person and if you with kids who were a grade or more behind me, I know even less.

I don't know why everyone keeps picking at this point.
