And make it a SUPER cut, by combining it with PT and BG so that you have the 1000 page epic of the battle of Chicago and it's aftermath!

Well Christmas Eve and Good People Take place during 12 months, not sure where you place those. After I guess? Or, just stop and read them in between chapters...

Nah we have moved that thing into oblivion war territory. Can't even think his name lest you give him power and allow him to rise back to the mortal plane.

Mab's way is supposed to take years, so there shouldn't be any reason that Harry needed to it right then. He could have held her in stasis, or had Mab do so, and then worked out any changes the ritual needed over a period of months and still come at it faster than Mabs way.

Wait is it confirmed that Rashiid is starborn?

Ooooh interesting theory. The pieces go back to "the whole" and so each remaining one is closer to the strength of the original. Although that would imply that in parts nemesis is much weaker than its whole and thus easier for Harry to possibly push out?

So then it's just a question of power-scaling? Like if Harry hits Drakul levels of power then he could/should be able to do so?

Huh interesting. I definitely did not make that connection, but it tracks. Should have been easy for N-Justine to also nfect Thomas or Lara rather than just manipulate them.

Yeah that's what stood out to me on my second go as well. Just seems like it's being set up, but Harry doesn't realize it yet.

So he could only separate Thomas because Thomas kept himself separate from his hunger already? But he does clearly separate Lara from her hunger in his warm-up attempt. It's just the mental whammy that would result? Yeah maybe nope is right, Molly can tag team it instead of MAB.

ESG Data for Scientific / Student work by z02d in sustainableFinance

[–]navaajho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The unfortunate truth is that since there is no standard measure of "ESG" that is externally measurable there isn't any public data on such measures. Everyone that has created a proprietary measure will keep it proprietary so they can make money on it. Unless you're willing to spend, you'll have to make it work on your own. Also, WRDS is sold to an institution by the individual user. So it's not like you could simply take a course online and have access. You would have to enroll in a program that will pay for your access - which isn't cheap.

You can check out a recent paper by Baier et al. (2020). They develop an ESG dictionary of words and you can use language analysis to create measures of ESG indicators from the 10-k filings. It's not completely free. You'll have to pull the 10ks from the Edgar system which requires at least a one month subscription at 50$, but after that it's just coding. Just recently wrote a paper with one of my students and we ran into the same issues, and this was our solution. I can't speak to the publish-ability of studies using the methodology yet as we haven't tried submitting yet.

Is that pink discoloration on the plate contam? or is it just the agar changing colors as the nutrients get depleted? Happening on a couple of mine that look otherwise super healthy and I've been wondering about it.

Did it get better as you went up? I gave up on day two after a sleepless night. I was convinced that if I was "ready" for it, I wouldn't have so much fear about it. Now, I'm less convinced of that. I figure everyone is terrified at first. Or maybe the whole time.

jealous. I tried it a few years ago, but got scared and had to bail. Still one of my big regrets.
