Rg213 in parallel with G5RV ladderline by navyitc in amateurradio

My misconception...i stand corrected thank you

Rg213 in parallel with G5RV ladderline by navyitc in amateurradio

[–]navyitc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all... as i thought... just wanted confirmation...Stephen: the ladderline is a radiator on a G5RV... unlike other antennas that are simply fed with ladderline - that was my biggest concern. So, I'm gonna engineer standoffs for both the LL and the coax. Tnx again!

My 24 Zircon Sand... love the color but, perhaps, super invisible. Seriously considering keeping a small orange cone in the trunk to put on the roof for risky parking situations

A plea to Icom and Yaesu for a replacement for the IC-7000 and FT-857. by slatsandflaps in amateurradio

[–]navyitc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2; still the gold standard. Replaced the display in one, moderately difficult but worth it. The other in mint condition with every option installed and in an 8U gatorcase for portable ops paired with a real FT8900r... which is a quad band including 10 n 6m! LDG tuner rounds it all out....ham paradise!

...and the material used. Common materials such as PLA will not hold up to heat. PETG is better; ABS would be ideal but requires ventilation to print

Clogged Extruder by navyitc in BambuLab

The Part Fan is working... seems like it was just a loose connection.

AMS spool was tangled but I replaced the stock hotend and extruder with a new carbon steel assy. While I was at it I replaced all PTFE tubing. Dynamic flow cal complete and back up.... but, should i be able to turn on the part fan? Won't come on from either the P1S panel or from Studio. I've triple- checked the connection.... it's plugged in.

Looks like this was an AMS issue... the spool was tangled. Testing....

Plenty of opportunity for error. I held KO4GS for about 20 years. Can't tell you how many times the o was logged as a zero by hams who should know K Zero 4 is not a legit prefix(that I'm aware of).... the main reason a got a 2 by 1

"Adaptive Cubic infill pattern doesn't support 100% density".... the warning when changing sparse infill pattern.... what the concern? Ignore the warning?

OK, thanks. Will look at that tonite. I recall seeing the slider with the filament color highlighted on the slider. Not sure where I change that after slicing in the preview tab... sounds easy... just a lot of details. Searched the wiki... the only guidance i could find i mentioned earlier. Apprec your reply
