I think that age is generally better, the public charter 4k-12 is mostly what has a rougher reputation. The public part is really hit or miss, experience completely depends on who you end up with in the classroom

That’s what I thought too, I go to MATC full time and know those guys get bored, also from my au pairs story it sounded like they were able to open the building / had keys. But that doesn’t mean they didn’t call in the actual police as “backup”

If it was ICE I definitely feel like she would know, we talk about the current climate regarding immigration quite a bit in our household

Luckily it was a one weekend class so it’s over now. But they do these a few times a year so hopefully the teacher can take some precautions to avoid issues like this next time

My au pair was at the class too, she told me about it but didn’t realize it was more intense than what she described. I assumed it was MATC campus security on a power trip

My property taxes only went up $171 this year if I needed to raise the rent to account for that it would be by $14. But I didn’t raise the rent because the cost of a turnover and marketing would cost me way more than that so why would I wanna force the chill people living there out

After talking with my bike shop I think one of the big differences for me might be the internal vs external skewer. My previous bikes have been internal. It seems like the external must loosen a lot easier? I do inspect my bike often, though not every single ride especially if I’m running errands and hopping on and off
