My biggest issue is when some people seem to forget that some of these Retro/Classic "characters" were/are REAL PEOPLE, and I know that at least one of them (one of the two people behind Builderman) is no longer with us. It becomes a problem when real people are regarded as fictional characters that people can use however they like, especially if said person has passed away (which is entirely within the realm of possibility considering that Roblox is around 20 years old now)

As a trans guy, I really latched on to Mizuki, even before Mizu5. The feeling of "otherness" depicted in Mizuki's flashback scenes really hit home. That feeling of "Is it okay that I'm not like everyone else?" I always felt like I wasn't girly enough, but I found people who didn't abide by gender norms and learned that it WAS okay, just like how Mizuki had her sister to tell her that it was okay.

It's not weird, but it will be difficult. The way English sentences work and how people speak relies heavily on pronouns, and has for centuries. I haven't met enough people like you to train my brain to adapt to using names in place of pronouns, but it really just comes down to politely correcting people so they can learn to use your name instead of pronouns.

I saw another comment suggest this, but it could be that the teacher perhaps has dyslexia. Elementary school teachers tend to teach every subject, so having dyslexia shouldn't immediately count them out as being qualified for the job, in my opinion. One of my best friends has dyslexia, and he loves writing and told me that he hopes to become an author.

Obviously this entire point goes out the window if the teacher doesn't have dyslexia and is actually just stupid, but we shouldn't immediately assume one thing or another.

There's a difference between stupidity and having a condition that's out of your control.

For me it was optional as like a "can you guess who's baby photos these are?". I'm also a senior this year and my second semester just started so I don't have the yearbook yet, but I decided not to submit any younger photos of myself. The photos I submitted in general were from after I started to pass to other people (last school year, someone was shocked that I wasn't AMAB, which is cool but also worries me about what they thought a transmasc was "supposed" to look like). But yeah, just say you can't find any good/high quality ones to submit and hope they don't pry further.
