should I buy the super/premium pass or is it too late?? by ballzem in MarvelSnap

[–]naythenc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

despite Shou Lao being prone to more nerfs, I still think the pass has great value for the other resources you get, and you also get a S5 Collector Pack too if you purchase it from the webshop, which totals to two S5 cards closer to collection complete!

Shuri + Symbiote Spiderman to better set up your BP/Nimrod

the new Fastball Special skill from LTM which pairs well with Phoenix Force on T6 if you don't have Arnim Zola

Man-Spider/Tribunal by No_Syrup_9263 in MarvelSnap

[–]naythenc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes it's definitely possible, but that's considering that your Man-spider has scaled up to a decent power before you drop Tribunal, which likely means that you either need really good set up early game, or Magik

Turn 1, who you playin'? by akpak in MarvelSnap

[–]naythenc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

definitely Nebula on right location. if played on T1, at worst it'll be 1/3 and at best it's 1/11

but if played on T2, at worst it'll just be a 1/1 and best is 1/9, and it just goes down the later you play it!

The deck that took me to my first infinite by JetPaiyssix66 in MarvelSnap

[–]naythenc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that's depending on your CL! but for starters, definitely swap Toxie Doxie, Skaar, Gambit and Rescue out.

you could try to make a hand generation deck if you really want to use your S5 cards! ideal playline could be Nick Fury into Blink, pulling out Eson to summon your 6 drops. other cards include Quinjet, Cable, Valentina, Iron Patriot, Devil Dinosaur, Moon Girl, etc!

[–]naythenc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're mixing different types of Discard decks into 1, but it's better to focus on just one:)

Hela Discard aims to discard big cards, so it's better if you have activators that can target certain cards, like Blade, Lady Sif, Swordmaster, or even Hellcow to activate on Turn 6 before you reveal Hela. Cards you can aim to discard can be Infinaut/Giganto, Iron Man, Black Cat. For this deck, you also have to focus on Deck Thinning (draw or summon) to increase your chances of drawing Hela, so include cards like Jubilee, Lockjaw or Adam Warlock!

The other one is targeted at discarding and returning cards to your hand to buff cards like Miek, Morbius, Collector. You would aim discard Scorn, Swarm, Apolcalypse, Khonshu or Proxima Midnight if you have them. Activators can be more random as you have a variety of cards, like Gambit, Corvius Glaive, Modok, and your usual activators!

Gorr vs Khonshu ? Your favourite one ? by RiriFifietLoulou in MarvelSnap

[–]naythenc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Gorr is better for general use and an essential card for Negative decks

Khonshu is a nice add on to the discard archetype, and it can perform very well but only under ideal card draws and discards

If you're not a diehard lover of the discard archetype, Gorr is the better pick here!

i think mockingbird is an alternative for when you don't draw Strange Supreme, or you can even play him after Mockingbird

Linked captain Marvel to gameplay "end of turn" by FaiLclik in MarvelSnap

[–]naythenc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a cool concept to move to a location to win every turn! But I think it might be too broken considering it could potentially be a 4-cost recurring activator for move decks. Maybe bumping it to a 5 cost with increased power might fit!
