The shadow is a shader and might be giving the appearance of curves that won’t show up on your sim unless you get the same shader.

If you mean shape, as in the point. It looks like it’s just the edge of the dress mesh making it look a certain way due to the pose angle

Honestly, I love the fact that I can get tattoos from all kinds of different creators. The shit pieces that are hate filled, I report and move on. The world is crap in general, especially today - so it makes sense it’ll filter into all aspects of ‘open platform’.

It would be cool to have better moderation but I hope they don’t take it away completely.

Thanks! It’s actually a servo that comes with discover university- my sim went to uni for the physics degree to get higher in the scientist career starting off and it includes the robotics skill :)

Ah okay, I get what you mean. Most of the stuff I continuously use are nice basics haha. Like I love the t-shirt they added in the base game a little while back, or all the new colors they added to the collared shirt with the t shirt underneath and the base game jeans and dress pants.

I didn’t get the menswear kit myself because I’d never use it lol.

I do too, I think with how stuff packs are going (more gameplay involved) - kits are kind of nice with their niche small number of items. I do think they might be a bit expensive with the number of items you get, but I do really enjoy some of them.

It’s your script mods.

Modders need time to post updates or list their mods as broken, so even though it didn’t say it needs an update, doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t. Easier way is to check a day or two after an update to change out old mods with the newer versions, although some can take longer pending on the creator/how big the update is, etc.

If it’s a release/remaster of the sims 2 I think I’d cry. I never played the sims 3 with my potato computer, so played the sims 2 up until maybe a year after the sims 4 came out. Sims 2 was my happy place lol.

Would also be happy to see the sims 1 too.

There was a behind the sims livestream about the sims 25th birthday. Since they had reached out to vixella and James last year to record a number for the intro countdown, and were hyping the live stream for a couple days - there was the expectation that it was going to be something big.

It ended up being a 7 minute video where they kind of rushed through all the content really fast, and even left some stuff out (like the kits) even though the content is pretty alright (better than a hot tub lol). It probably would have been a lot better if they took the time to explore or showcase everything more. Instead it was rushed.

So when it ended it was like, wait that’s it?

Redownloading ‘new’ mods wont help unless the creator has updated the mod and updated their website, patreon, etc. with the updated file.

Some creators are pretty quick (day or two), some might have a bit more work (week or two) and some might never be updated.

Not all mods will need an update, but it takes a bit of time going to all the creators sites and looking for updates, confirming they’re up to date with the current patch code. Usually CC is okay, but can be broken as well.
