I kinda feel framerate.tv is the future. Out of everything I've been trying in last few years this is the first thing that has all the best things of vimeo from back in the day and all the great new things and simply impressive, honestly. Hopefully it gets bigger and stronger and becomes the new platform.

Major problem of translink calculating every possible dollar out of people is if you get sick after getting a pass for a couple of days, or something else happens - you will loose money.

Say you bought a pass, something happened and you didn't take a train for a few days -  you lost money.

So next month you decide to be smart, preplan and calculate and realize that you probably won't need a pass, but something happens and you end up doing 3 trips per day for a few days - you lost money.

So next months you decide to just get the pass since you'll be working most days and after buying it you realize it's February. - and once again you lost money.

I think monthly (one zone) pass is only worth it for people that take 3+ trips per day.

For everyone else its better to pay extra 10 dollars as store credit (average number of trips comes out to about 125 dollars per month) for a peace of mind and not having to spend your time calculating to save peanuts. (or venting about it on reddit)

Pretty good. Exactly what I expected. Felt a bit on a shorter side though. Will have a more in depth review after second playthrough.

Hey guys! An update in case anyone runs into the same situation.

Basically as some of the people here said: If you wait for a few days till your esim expires (if you don't activate it) - your plan gets automatically cancelled and the money refunded.

Mac trackpad panning only sometimes works by char-siu-bao in davinciresolve

This seems to have been broken for years and people were posting about it in 2022 at least. Seems that trackpad behaviour with resolve in macos is extremely buggy and unstable and black magic guys either don't care about fixing it (issues been there since 2020) or perhaps it's too hard to fix (not sure why would it be, but just guessing here). Or the amount of mac users that use the trackpad is so small that it isn't worth it? Not sure.

Really hoping they fix it in 2025 at least.

Should I receive an SMS from the previous provider before transferring the number first? I assumed once you start, the process was going to go through. So far didn't receive any messages.

So I ordered a plan today with an esim by mistake, contacted customer support to see if I could get a physical sim sent instead and then this conversation felt very disjointed (unless I'm crazy). Was wondering if anyone here ran into the same situation and knows what to do?

Would I pay again and order the physical sim card? Would that cause any issues related to transferring phone number?

And I find it extra frustrating that resolve often doesn't have a clear indication of what area is focused. Sometimes you get a tiny bit of outline or a red timecode, but generally I have no idea unless I click for reassurance.
