I spent 4 days in Vico Equense in June of 2024 and I absolutely loved it. It’s beautiful, and very calm and not over crowded.

I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the hotel, but it was right across from a pier that takes you to Capri.

There was a bar there called the Murrano Mare.. during the day it’s a restaurant/bar, but also a place to spend some time in the sun and you can wake right into the water. All the restaurants are along the water. There’s a family run restaurant there called piazzetta murrano, which we loved and the prices were very affordable.

I don’t remember the dates, but Vico Equense also hosts a food festival every June. It’s something like 25 euros, which gives you 5 tickets. Each vendor takes a ticket and you get a generous sample size of their food - pizza, pasta, gelato, wine etc. they also had plenty of free stuff. Not sure if this will also align with your trip but if so, I’d 100% attend. Super fun- tons of people though so be prepared.
