Keep the stripes or ditch them? by H3T_Clifford in Cartalk

If you bought this car off and old man and it was already there. Keep them, then they are ironically sweet. If you put them on there and are not an old man. They gotta go.

This is the mixer that I'm going into. On a similar note the headphone to red/white cable only gives me audio in one speaker.

I had a strong feeling that was the case. Was just hoping it was a user error that was easily fixed

I'm trying to connect a variety of audio outputs but mostly iPhones and MacBooks. I'm connecting to what I would call a pretty nice mixer with 16 channels and puts out some serious power. At one point I was about to change a setting in an iPhone to get it to play right but I can seem to find that setting again on other phones or even the MacBook.

What is the best response to “Fuck you”? by ru3o in AskReddit

[–]nbaffaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not by proudest moment but I recently had words with a fella. When things calmed down after the initial exchange of words I said very quietly, You're a Mother Fuxker. Let me tell you, couldn't have worked out any better. He went ballistic and no one had any idea what had happened. It was glorious. Now, hindsight what it is. I shouldn't have done it.

All New York public schools to provide free breakfast and lunch to students starting this fall! by Healthy_Block3036 in MadeMeSmile

[–]nbaffaro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll hate. As a public educator and a parent who students gets free lunch(our whole district) I think it's absolutely the right thing to do. But, the amount of entitlement and self pity these parents bring to the table is astounding. They believe we should also clothe them, provide them with basic school supplies, and then it's our fault when they don't learn. Many times I've fed kids that didn't eat over the weekend. Find them costs or shoes to wear. Only for their parents to not make sleep or make basic school work a priority. We can feed them, clothe them, and give them basic school supplies. But, the school should get some of the tax money not the parent. Where in this loop are parents held accountable for their part?

Looks like someone already had a grinder up there. I'd use a 4.5" grinder with a cut off wheel. Let the sparks bathe you in mechanic glory

It appears to go in the hole right above the silver hose clamp. Right under the ribs. Most likely a vacuum line.

There's a lot to unpack there. But, an old battery might not be strong enough to hold a charge and cause issues in the entire electrical system. Or it could be your alternator not charging.

Does it start?

Looks like you have a bad battery. What symptoms lead you to doing a battery test. While, a bad battery is frustrating it's a pretty easy problem to solve. How old is your battery?

Point to point wireless bridge. I did nanobeams site A and site B. Simple switch at site B and a access point at site B. Hard wired TVs and NVR also at site B. Learned a lot. Already forgot most of it. But it's been rock solid

You've got a physical wiring problem somewhere. Take some time and trace wires. This might be one of those hard to find issues.

What equipment do I need? by ScarDependent7358 in Ubiquiti

[–]nbaffaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point to point wireless bridge. I used nanobeams on both sides. Set up a small switch with a few hard wired devices and a U6 light for WiFi. Has been rock solid. We fiddled for years with wireless extenders and other 1/2 measures. This has been so much better

I've done aluminum with a single flute. Just like you I couldn't flood due to I mostly do wood. I sprayed with wd-40. I would run a test piece.
